Ming’s Garden: Only for Mums Not for Food

By

The food is expensive for a canteen style of menu/ serving.

Ming’s Garden is located along the Sta. Rosa Road going to Tagaytay and I’ve always wondered what can you see in this place since it has a big sign along the road. Another Sonya’s Garden? I would save you the trouble of wasting your time checking this place out, if you are looking for mums, and ornamental plants then check this out and this is for you. Don’t go here if you are looking for coffee or culinary treats — please please save yourself the hassle. I’ll tell you why…

In fairness, the restrooms are very nice and the garden ambiance is very cool. But where can you find a toasted bread with 4 slices for P65?! Coffee for P60 that taste no where close to Starbucks even if its barako coffee?! There is no service to talk about and the canteen type of food does not do justice to the ambiance of the place. I really felt that I cannot stop whining about how I was fooled and wasted my time stopping over this place. Aaargghh!

Then again, just appreciate the mums 🙂 They are soo beautiful and cheap 🙂

  1. Hello Good day! By any chance do you know if Ming’s garden offers or sells organic flowers, particularly roses that are grown without the use of pesticides? I am currently looking for suppliers of such. Please let me know, asap. Thank you very much!!! btw, my email ad is melsia14@yahoo.com
I would greatly appreciate your help.

  2. Just curious Mel,
What are you thinking about doing with organic pesticide free flowers?
Here in the US, they do sell these type of flowers for food, soaps, etc but they cost a lot.

  3. hello everyone! i’m having difficulty in looking for a place where we can held our christmas party coz we’re only 20 in our department. can anyone suggest for a place near sta. rosa? thanks in advance!

  4. Last March 30, 2008 me and my girlfriend was buying flowers in this establishment. Upon purchase of these items not more than 30 minutes we found that the backseat window of the car was shattered and most of our stuff was stolen. We have talk to the people around the compound and found out that this already happened last year. Knowing these the management did not do any counter measure to avoid this thing from happening again.

  5. Hi anton,
thanks for this post… My family will be visiting tagaytay and I thought it will be better if we drop by at Ming’s Garden then suddenly… I think not at all ^^, hope to see you soon anton and take care

  6. Obviously you haven’t tried having lunch there. It may not be the best place to have coffee but you should try their bulalo ( good for 5 people), crispy tawilis, ming’s oriental salad with chicken, Susan with bucayo, and lechwe flan. Maybe that will erase the unpleasant you had before. ?
