Conti’s Finally Expanded in Greenhills!

By

After 8 years of being Paranaque’s pride and best kept dessert secret, Conti’s pastry shop and restaurant finally opened in Connecticut, Greenhills last mid Nov 2005. I kept this on my list to blog about every since Tanya mentioned this in her blog. For some time, Conti’s has been our caterer in the office for special lunches with VIP visitors, and you would crave about how good the food is. So for all those who don’t know yet what’s the fuss about Conti’s opening at greenhills, then read on. Otherwise, I have food shots of the Baked Salmon and Mango Bravo that would surely make you head over at connecticut on your next greenhills shopping. Thank you Carol Sumulong, for finally branching out in Ortigas!

The waitresses are very friendly and accommodating — ready to serve and satisfy your conti’s graving. Rumor has it that the ensaymadas are also great and their other cakes or desserts.

Baked Salmon (P225). Norwegian baked salmon baked with Conti’s very own topping served with buttered vegetables and paella rice. Irresistibly the best and this made Conti’s famous. So for first timers, this is a must try and wonder what that yummy topping is 🙂

Callos P150. Ox tripe, knuckles, and chorizo bilbao in garlic tomato sauce served with steamed rice. My wife ordered this and she was satisfied and regretted she did not order a second cup of rice 🙂

Mango Bravo (P75/slice). Frozen Mango Cream delight. This made Conti’s famous as a dessert mecca in BF.

Choco Overload Cake (P70/slice). Well the waiters said this was the second best seller among their cakes and desserts. This tasted just like an ordinary chocolate mousse so better save that calories or sweet craving for something else 🙂

The connecticut branch is small so better reserve when you plan to eat there during lunch/ dinner if you don’t want to queue.

  1. Hey there! I am also a loyal Conti’s patron and I love going to Paranaque just for their Tiramisu! Yuuuummmm! I saw their branch along Connecticut last Sunday after I went shopping in Greenhills and it was a pity we were in a hurry coz we were running late for Church… I would have wanted to stop and grab half-a-Tiramisu…Now I have another excuse to brave the northbound traffic….

  7. had this very BAD EXPERIENCE with conti’s GREENHILLS. called and asked before going there if there are mango bravos that are available and ian santos, an employee of conti’s greenhills, said “yes maam! continuous naman po paggawa namin dahil sa holiday season.” when my friend went there (around 12:45pm), there were no cakes. grrr… ok! maybe while going there many people were in conti’s buying cakes. my friend asked two employees of conti’s what time will the cakes be available. one said around 2pm. the other said after an hour. my friend called me and told me that there were no cakes (not only mango bravo but all cakes were not available!). i called again conti’s greenhills, this ian santos answered the phone saying something like ” Conti’s GREENHILLS…” i asked again “may mango bravo ba kayo na available?” she said, “yes maam!” i said, “my friend is there buying pero wala daw cakes available.” she said, “ha? dito po?” i said “yes dyan sa greenhills.” then she said “Sa BF po meron” grrrrrrrrrrrr…. is she stupid?!!!! how can she say that? i’m calling greenhills and i called before my friend went there. we argued and she still keeps on making baluktot na palusot. she’s really annoying!!! i won’t forget that bad experience i had with conti’s. i will also boycot conti’s from now and even spread that horrible experience i had!!!!

  11. isn’t it that there’s conti’s in serendra and trinoma as well? does anybody know their contact numbers and exact address? thanks!

  12. acyually overated lang conti’s why don’t you try The Chocolate Kiss there’s 2 in UP Diliman and 1 in Roces Ave. Q.C. we ate one time at Conti’s Trinoma and it was a dismay – ang init ng place tagal pa ng service big plates small servings kay pala “Conti’s as in ang konti ng portion” Everbody raves about the Mango Bravo you should try the Mango Torte of Dulcelin or Cuerva in Makati. view their website

  13. I think that conti’s food are really delicious.
but i heard from a friend that someone told her,
that there’s a person who work in the production site of contis have a PTB.
I’m not sure if it’s true.
