Didn’t you wish that there is a one-stop online travel guide that can help you plan your awesome vacation or travel in the Philippines?

Sometimes, I myself, is frustrated with the low quality of online information we have for most of our awesome Philippines destinations. By far, the most comprehensive travel guide of the Philippines is the Lonely Planet and they are written by foreigners.

Lastly, most people ask me about tips on places in the Philippines and I thought wouldn’t it be nice if I can share these tips with more Filipinos.

As a Christmas Gift to everyone, I was inspired to create online travel guides that can help you plan your next awesome vacation in the Philippines! One of the most frequently asked question from me, recently, is how to plan the Northern Trip to Pagudpud or Ilocos Norte. I’ve written an extensive and comprehensive travel guide that is short, complete, and full of pictures.

  1. this is simply perfect! just last night i was scouring the net for a good review on pagudpud and found nothing! good job anton! 🙂 thanks!!

  2. This is great! Very comprehensive and informative, indeed. I’ll try to email you soon on more trip suggestions to the north since I hail from there : )

  3. bro,
why don’t we make this a reality in 2007
and finally have your travel blogs published
and sold in bookstores and gas stations
    everywhere?
we can call it ANG MALUMBAY NA MUNDO NI ANTON.
    hehehe!
    seriously,
this marketing man is volunteering for duty!

  4. we went to ilocos 2 weeks ago. the weather was ugly when we went to Bangui and Pagudpud (as in parang bagyo!) but was sunny in Laoag and Vigan. locals said na pasumpong-sumpong na ang weather pag december and january kaya ingat na lang kayo. i only had 2 close up pictures of the windmills and had a fever when we reached pagudpud, lakas kasi ng ulan e. the next day, umuulan pa rin nung inikot namin ang Blue Lagoon (lakas ng alon!),Bantay-Abot (donut with a hole) mountain and Patapat Bridge. di na kami nagpunta ng Kaibigan falls coz its a 30 minute ride away from Blue Lagoon and 30 minutes trek pa.
have you been to AQUA GRANDE RESORT? ganda dun! its near PATAPAT BRIDGE lang. entrance fee is 20 pesos. river meets the sea ang drama dun! the best!
for those who are saving money, try nyo yung POLARIS resort near Saud Beach Resort. kaya lang, just like what Anton mentioned, super mahal ang food! but atleast you’ll have the finest sand kasi nasa likod lang siya ng Saud Beach Resort.
    babalik ako dun! =0)

  5. hi anton,

  6. Hi Anton! Yeah, I’d agree on your comment that the Lonely Planet Philippines is the most comprehensive travel guide to anywhere here in our country.
I was checking out your Bantayan post a few months back and have been inspired to go there this January! If ever I find something new there or in Cebu, I’d definitely email it to you so you can add it to your online travel guides :).

  7. Hi Anton, i was browsing your blogs / website for December 2006 – tried opeining the Pagudpod site but nothing is coming out – should i go to a specific site for this?
