Trinoma, Triangle North of Manila, “soft” opened last 16th of May 2007. The much-awaited opening of an Ayala Mall outside Makati was disappointing. The misadventure started with a game of “Find a Parking Spot” where guards were there to confuse you so you get to tour the mall and you don’t get a parking space immediately. Don’t just park in the open space parking outside the mall, because you will miss on all the fun in playing the game. The fee for playing the game is P30 for the first 4 hours 🙂 Most of the malls that opened which includes Mall of Asia and Serendra, usually have free parking on their first 2 weeks but not Trinoma.
After you get your parking spot, the architects created a maze disguised as a mall which is not characteristic of an Ayala Mall but more of a Robinson’s Galleria Mall. Good luck in finding the shops or resto you want to go to but I’m glad that customer service is available, if you find the information counters. The main lobby area (pictured above) is well landscaped but nothing really to rave about. Don’t you think there’s so much vertical beams around the mall? There is also a road block in the maze where you will have to find your way to enter the mall if you are caught having dinner outside the Main Lobby area after 9pm. Another good luck in finding your way back to your parking.
I was just having fun at this post because “soft” opening for Trinoma means stay away from this mall until the dust settles. I’ve checked out the list of restaurants and shop in the hope of finding something uniquely Trinoma but there was none. Let me know if you find something interesting in Trinoma that is worth raving about. I live in the Malate area so it was not worth the hassle to go to Trinoma. We should have just eaten in SM’s The Block which have more interesting restaurants and shops.

The main activity center resembles that of Glorietta Mall. I can imagine how crowded it would be during the weekends.
Perhaps, the most entertaining part of the evening was when Aidan met Ronald Mcdonald himself. Surprisingly, Aidan was not scared of Ronald.
The Food Choices have interesting couches amidst the dining tables. It was just claustrophobic because of the low ceiling.
There were booths located on the dark left side of the photo above. Food Choices have a good variety of restaurants that is why this place is packed with crowd.
We decided to eat at Crustacia Crabs & Seafood which have a small area but interesting interiors.
Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls (P195++). This was not bad for a P50 for each roll. Shrimp was not fresh nor the rice paper was not in good quality. This was one healthy choice.
Thai Catfish Salad (P165++). Just the right amount of serving and it tasted OK.
Thai BBQ Chicken, half (P230++). Chicken was not marinated very well and hence it was not tasty. We had to request for a lot of sauces to compensate for its taste. Better to buy a cheaper whole Andok’s lechon manok.
This was the highlight of my night, when Aidan was in the mood to pose in front of my camera. I’m not sure why he poses this way or who are the people he was imitating. He likes tilting his head towards his right shoulders.
This is yet another pose and he likes the no look pose with hands behind his head. I should take a picture of Aidan with just his Pampers on in this pose.

Anton, I admire your courage when it comes to checking out new malls such as these. I for one, would never venture to these places until at least three months after they’ve opened. Looking at your photos, I can’t help but be stupefied at how much the place reminds me of Glorietta and Market! Market! They’re all clones of each other.
I guess we were lucky then with the parking. The lagoons weren’t finished yet but I’m surprised you didn’t comment on the fountains. We were able to watch Shrek 3 at Cinema 7 (the only THX theater among the 7 cinemas). It was so big, it even had Lazy Boy seats at 260 pesos. We were also in Trinoma on its opening day since we live close by. One thing that stands out when compared to SM North is that it has better acoustics. It is not as noisy as The Block provided Jollibee turns the volume down. I like it that we can get a different perspective of the city also from the ‘viewing decks’.

So I guess it’s not worth travelling all the way up north, at least not yet I hope. The activity center does remind me of Glorietta.

As for Trinoma, for us living in QC, it’s a pretty big thrill because though we love SM North, it’s high time we get another mall without having to travel far. For me, what I specially love about Trinoma is that some of the stores that are opening are stores I usually have to travel to Ortigas or Makati just to buy one crummy item.
But yeah, the layout is confusing much like a Robinson’s mall. Still, I can’t wait till all the stores have moved in!

We were there too. It’s actually like Glorietta. Bigger pa nga. I guess it’s a bit disappointing, at the moment, since most of the stores are still closed. I’m pretty sure that as soon as most of the establishments are up and running things will look pretty different. Being from QC, I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt. Things should look up pretty soon.
You’re so right, Anton! We were there last night to watch Shrek 3, and the following are my observations:
1. Mainit yun mall. I guess the airconditioning towers are still on break-in status. You need to bring a fan if you plan to watch a movie.
2. Not enough directional signs. For a big and complex mall, they should have invested heavily in signs. You’ll find it hard to get back to your parking space. Eto pa, kapag nagtanong ka sa mga existing tenants, sabihin nila sa yo “ay sorry di ko alam, bago lang kami dito”. Ask the guard or information counter, if you can find one.
3. Weak cellphone signals for Smart and Sun. So please make sure you have a pre-planned meeting place if in case nagkaligaw-ligaw kayo. Yun Globe malakas kasi mall nila yan.
4. Cinema is poorly planned. Why? Screen not panoramic (squarish). Hallways too small, possibly a bottleneck or stampede area. Exit signs masyadong malinaw beside the screen, that you’ll lose focus on the movie. Airconditioning not functioning well. Too huge a theater, not like PowerPlant or Eastwood. The size is more like an SM cinema, and not as cozy as Eastwook or Rockwell.
5. Too dusty! Came in with a newly carwashed car. Went out dusty and dirty. Also, the dust is kinda grayish. I suspect that they are cement residues. You need to wear a musk sa parking area.
6. Only 30% occupied. Not much shopping to be done yet. Most of the stores are under construction.
7. Daming beams. Yun food court low ceiling. No point of reference, kasi circular yung configuration. Magulo, basta magulo!
8. With SM City and Trinoma, expect heavy traffic in Mindanao Ave and EDSA.
9. Btw, the crowd is a mixture of Eastwood and SM City folks. So, okay naman. It is not as Jologs as Market!Market! or say Ever Gotesco. But it’s not the Rockwell crowd. Im sure of that!
Yun lang for now… Babalik ako sa Trinoma after 3 months siguro…
i can really depend on you anton… just woke up (afternoon siesta) and thought of bringing my nephew to trinoma to watch shrek. decided to check your site first… hoping that you went there already. so i’m glad you made this review… we’ll just go to greenhills instead = ). since trinoma is very near our place, we’ll check it out after a month or 2. thanks anton for the heads up!

I’m surprised that you didn’t mention the beautiful waterworks and gardens on the Rooftop Park area. Anyway, I’ve been to TriNoma and I think it’s a beautiful mall especially at night! I’m sure after a couple of months, all of the problems we encountered will be a thing of the past. Actually the the “maze” you’re talking about is characteristic of some Ayala Malls (I think Glorietta and Greenbelt malls are confusing as well).

I find Glorietta confusing too, unless you’ve been there for a couple of times. But yeah, Robinson’s Mall actually takes the cake when it comes to confusing the public. lol!

i visited trinoma with my boyfriend yesterday and we were disappointed to say the least.. true that the activity center looks like the one in glorietta, the outside/garden area looks like serendra and the cinema level is similar to market market hahaha but in fairness, the mall looks ok. what really turned us off was the poor airconditioning (or if there was airconditioning at all) 🙁 we immediately noticed that it was pretty warm inside the mall but the longer we went around we felt our sweat trickling down and our skin getting super sticky. ugh! we decided to just leave and come back in 2-3months or when at least 90% of the stores are open na and their AC system in full operation.
I can’t wait ’til Trinoma launches big-time (June I think) especially with the anchor – Landmark! Soon I won’t have to go all the way to Makati just to shop at Landmark. I heard this one’s designed by the same architects that designed Greenbelt….

we were there yesterday and damn was it hot! we wanted to watch fracture but the ticket girl said the a/c wasnt workin so they arent sellin tickets.
if you’re really lookin for somethin new, this isn’t the mall to look forward to coz it’s very much like glorietta, just bigger. way bigger. and the bridges outside, very greenbelt.
BUT the great thing is for us livin in the north area, this [is] will be a great mall coz it has stores that can be mostly found in malls in makati or anywhere south. and it has max brenner! so for those who hate travelin back and forth just to shop or dine, just a couple more months of sacrifice Ü

yep, TRINOMA was designed by the same architects who designed Greenbelt. it’s really a mixed design of all Ayala malls. as far as I know, Ayala started planning TRINOMA since 2004. some of my friends are involved in the planning/designing stages. I’m sure TRINOMA is going to be the place to see and be seen once Ayala gets to straighten out their loose ends. I’ve no doubt about that. 😉
My cousin and I went to trinoma to watch shrek, only to find out that the a/c wasn’t working for the entire mall so they shut down the cinemas. And to make the evening more annoying, Ayala had the nerve to charge people for the P30 parking fee, considering that people went there only to come out disappointed.
We went there last sunday. The taxi driver had a hard time finding the entrance were he can drop us off. I think a lot of cars got lost as well, just like us, who went into what seemed to be the way towards the entrance but turned out to be towards the parking lot. Almost all cars were stopping by the security guard asking for directions!
We decided to watch Shrek III, unfortunately their aircon wasn’t working well. Bummer!
I can’t wait when it’ll be finally finished. Hopefully our next visit won’t be the same as our first visit misadventure .
My Comments:
1. Ceiling is low and claustrophobic

3. Floor tiles are like that of a bathroom
4. Architecture is nothing great, its just a new Glorietta
5. Very unorganized. It’s a maze! Very confusing!

I thought this mall would be nicer than Mall of Asia since it opened a year after MOA did, but seems like they did a really bad job. Kids would never think of going to this mall. it has a very low name-recall. i hope they think of something to make Trinoma better in the next few months.
Bottomline is: Ayala should have never had the soft opening in the first place. They should just have the grand opening in December 2007 (which was originally the plan and I hope they stick with it).
I went to TriNoma today and I really like it. The first 3 levels remind me of Glorietta, the upper levels remind me of Greenbelt. The mall is huge. Definifely bigger than Glorietta and Market Market. Airconditioning already works. It seems dark and gloomy because 80% of the stores are not opened yet. I’m sure it’ll bright once all the stores have opened. Moreover, Ayala plans to add more light fixtures. I have to agree that the Food Options area has low ceilings. That’s the area I find claustrophobic. As for the rest, ceiling height is good. The water features are really nice. Despite the soft opening faux pax, I’m sure to see a big improvement in the next 6 months.

I still didn’t like the ceiling. High ceilings make a space really grand. Trinoma didn’t make it like that. Honestly, I was real disappointed. I think it’s nice because it’s new, but other than that, it’s just like greenbelt and glorietta.
With all the comments posted here, I think ayala would do something better with Greenbelt 5. I’ll wait for that instead.

have you actually been to any international mall? better go out of the country and see what they have as flooring. cheap taste? no… well-travelled probably. i agree to the others were saying. Trinoma is nothing spectacular. Come on you guys, it’s just a new Ayala Mall. That’s it. No ooohs and aaahs about it. This is a new mall and yet so many negative critics about it. I’d rather be in Greenbelt. moreover, the frontage of shops are really small. there are “flagship” stores that doesn’t look like flagship stores. One more thing, the steelworks are not really of high standard like the railings. So far, so bad. Landscape is still the best, though. Ayala rocks at that. let’s just “wait till the dust settles” as said by anton. 🙂 let’s go back in December, eh? 🙂
It’s really sad how anyone can be a critic specially when one has nothing good to say. Give Ayala a break, the construction took only 2 years to finish. There might be a lot of flaws, but they were only two weeks delayed on their target soft opening. Give it two months, it will be better.
As for something uniquely Trinoma, try Oki Oki (Jap Resto) with a wide array of Jap dishes; and La Maison (first branch at Cebu) serves hefty delicious ribs.
has the dust settled? nope. wandered around and was disappointed that most everything was still setting up.
i AM happy though that i don’t need to go all the way to ortigas or makati because most stores are now here (hey hey, beauty bar, mango, zara!). restos not too exciting as of yet. it will take a while but i won’t be going anywhere!
i do like the fountains, the greenery and the viewdeck. such a nice change from sm the block’s straightforward layout.
i don’t think the planners built trinoma with the A class in mind but rather for the whole spectrum of society. its not fair to put greenbelt as measuring stick since the real estate prices of the two locations are light years apart. lastly, just what the heck is an ‘international mall’?

Is it true that one of the sides of the second level collapsed last saturday @ around 7 pm? A friend’s aunt witnessed while waiting for the Hale/Orange n’ Lemon’s show. How come it’s not on the news?

Hum..I haven’t heard of that collapsing second level…scary naman…but my sister and i went there yesterday and it is okay naman…the mall is starting to look like A MALL. This is really an answer to all of us living in QC who does not want to travel to Makati just to feel the Ayala malls…
Oh…the cinemas are better now! Full airconditioning and the smell is better…parang air freshener..plus the seats, floor carpet, and ambiance are far better than Glorietta..pangit na kasi yung sa Glorietta..kadiri na yung mall (in my opinion ha.)
when will ayala learn that more stores doesn’t make a better mall. it’s too big for its own good. rockwell is great, it’s not hard to get around because it essentially is just a four lever atrium. quality is better than quantity.
i’m sure they’re reading your blog for valuable feedback, but when did ayala listen ba? if they don’t listen to their own tenants (count me as a former one), ano pa kung yung mga customer nila?
and, just like any ayala mall, tipid sila sa basurahan. you can never find one around.

i went to trinoma the other day. Much like Glorietta. The A/C is working well. I like the garden sa 3rd floor (i think), i went home early so i didn’t see the fountain show. We ate at cafe breton, which by the way, has no mirror in the wash area, and tissue holder in the toilet, not even something to hang your bag in. So far, i liked what i saw sa trinoma, and it has viktor jeans, gymboree, david and goliath and birkenstock. nakakaligaw nga lang, di ba dapat kahit soft opening pa lang, may directory na sila?
I was there in TriNoma last week. Super lakas ng ulan and there was this part of the 2nd floor ceiling (near the still-unfinished sbarro) that caved in. As in steel bars and concrete and ceiling bits everywhere. May leak daw ng water dun sa ceiling mismo. Bad vibes for TriNoma.

My husband and I visited TriNoma the weekend it opened. From the outside, you can barely tell that it’s really open, since parts of it are still under construction. Parking was also confusing.
However, I like the wide variety of shops available, and a lot of my friends who live in the QC area are super happy to have so many boutiques (both high & mid-ebd) now accessible to them. I was also impressed by the landscaping and water features on the upper deck. All in all, the place reminds me of Glorietta with a bit of Greenbelt thrown in. I wouldn’t say Market Market — TriNoma is so much nicer, naman.
I also can’t wait for The Landmark to open this August 2007! The supermarket has a wider selection than Rustans/Shopwise, at much lower prices! And the department store is my favorite for pocket-friendly fashion finds. Hopefully, the department store layout will be nicer and neater than the one in Makati, which is madness! (Maybe because there are so many people crossing over from one place to the next — Glorietta, Greenbelt, and the terminal.)
Haven’t checked out the cinemas yet, as I’m very picky with cinemas and tend to stick to my favorites!
As for the restaurants, it seems they’re targetting a lower to mid-end market (based on Jill’s list). Is Old Chang Kee the same as the one in Singapore? That’s one of the street food stalls in Singapore I love to buy from while shopping =) Also heard from a friend of a friend that Florabel might be opening in TriNoma, but this is unverified info, and I have no idea if this is true.
As for the caving in of the second floor’s ceiling, I haven’t heard anything about that except through comments on this blog, but I hope Ayala addresses this right away!

I was at Dencio’s the other night and I was not disappointed at all. I like the concept of an open resto bar rather than air conditioned one where you can hardly breath due to cigar smoke from smokers. I find the mall interesting to go to. After all it is an AYALA, the company known for mixing nature and concrete jungle. For those who never been in the mall suggest to see it for yourself. It’s not bad at all.
for those Manilenos who haven’t ventured South (like really South) Ayala Malls Cebu is the most confusing layout ever, and this was before Market!Market! and Greenbelt 3 and Trinoma. You have to hand it to the Ayalas to try to find a way to make a mall interesting architecturally instead of the “go straight-turn around 180 degrees-go straight again” philosophy of the SM Malls (recently broken by Mall of Asia). I don’t understand why everyone is so confused by the Robinson’s Malls, which basically follow a U-shape. In the end, Robinson’s Malls can be navigated like SM malls once you get the hang of it -architecturally uninteresting. Ayalas really go for the plaza concept, I notice (a central area and then all halls/alleyways radiate from there). In case you guys don’t notice, old parts of our city planning follows this Spanish concept so it is so easy to get lost. The American style grid-type city layout can be found in some places in our Metro. Where the two meet, it gets confusing. Plus we have unreliable road signs. Our malls reflect our country! 🙂
how can a Robinson’s mall be confusing? it’s a rectangle for the most part like SM’s.
Trinoma’s parking is indeed very confusing. management may have placed signs but the words on the signs make it more confusing. plus, there are mispainted lane/space markings.
For a humble Northerner, this is the best that we can get and it’s quite a pain to see hopes dashed for us. But I will still keep my hopes high – maybe, just maybe, after fully opened, things will be better (Yup, Anton, di pa rin ako nakakarating! Influential ka talaga sa akin! Haha) I don’t think bringing Greenbelt to our area will sell at all. We will still hover at the pang-masa appeal because of the demographics.
AS for the labyrinth, it may need some time for most. I did have to adjust and feel my way with Glorietta coz I seriously got lost in my early days there. Well, sometimes I still can’t distinguish 1 and 2 hehehe..so I have to go to the middle and look for the signs haha.

i think trinoma is really nice. lalo na sa labas where you’ll have many floors na madaming fountains and other waterworks. hindi lang sxa sa isang floor.
weird yung cinemas kasi ung entrance masxadong magkakalayo. although ganun din sa gateway mall, at least sa gateway, in one area magkakasaama atleast 3 cimemas. I never liked any ayala cinema kasi maliit yung screen unlike sa gateway mall. very expensive pa yung food sa taters and chimara. What’s unique sa trinoma cinemas ay carperted yung buong ng floor area including where the seats are. normally kasi yung hallways and stairways lang yung carpeted. Pero mas okay padin yung carpet ng gateway cinemas kasi malambot like sa mga high-end hotels.. makakarelax talaga yung feet mo while watching a movie. I also dont like the fire exit signs… masxado maliwanag, very distracting. Yung size ng movie screens nila sa trinoma ay mas malaki than any ayala cinema. Basta, if its a must-see movie, sa gateway cubao padin ako.
Im so excited na mag-open yung landmark dept store. Finally we dont have to go to makati to go to landmark. Sayang yung renovation ng SM Dept store sa north edsa kasi hindi nila ginaya yung design nung sa sm megamall. Astig yung design ng dept store sa megamall kasi parang hindi na sxa pang-masa.. you’ll feel like you are in marks and spenser sa london (hindi local m&s stores). Gusto ko na din mag-open yung landmark supercenter. bad trip kasi yung sm hypermarket sa north edsa, pangit ng product mix, mas madami pa yung non-food.
ganda ng mga design ng mga stores sa trinoma, you’ll feel na ginastosan talaga and its like they are the archor outlets. Ewan ko lang bat ganun yung girbaud, sobrang small.
problema ngaun sa trinoma ay yung atm. Meron lang 2 bpi atms ngaun, sobra haba ng pila. Dapat mag-widraw ka na before you go there.
Trinona is an ayala world! walang PLDT payphone… lahat globelines! At syempre nauna mag-lagay ng atm machines ang BPI. Malakas din ang signal ng globe mobile phones.
main advantage ng trinoma ay yung MRT access nila. Open na nga pala yung bridgeway. tatamarin ka na pumunta sa SM north.

yeah just like glorietta it’s a maze! i prefer going to sm malls which have efficient and simple design and besides they offer some free seats to cool off your sole. you are more relaxed in them and no need for “road maps”!!!

my comments are similar to those above but i feel like i’ve misjudged the mall. nandun kasi kami nung bumagsak ung ceiling ng second floor. nasty. pero eto mga comments which i believe will be useful as insight for other arki students out there:
pansinin nyo ung balance ng architectural features ng trinoma… its bad! concentrated sa isang cornere lang… majority of its vast facade is parking space (three floors pa!). ung feats and landscape is concentrated sa entrance na i think is misplaced. water features aren’t that splendid. but their “mall formula” really works… gotta give trinoma that big hand. radial, flower like pattern. and there is nothing american about a gridiron layout… its spanish! and trinoma is never gridiron. thanx!
As an architect I’ve found out that this mall isn’t just beauty, the orientation is so wisely planned. Capturing all possible points of clients’ access away from SM City. From EDSA they’ve created Mindanao Avenue extension and also the MRT connection..tsk tsk…therefore I conclude that nothing has been misplaced here, so if you are puzzled about some things in this mall, i suggest you better wait and see, this is not a mistake, this is really intended for a purpose that shall be beneficial for both the mall and the customers. Visit Trinoma today and bring not fans, but jackets instead coz the airconditioning (which is an innovative technology)is already functioning well. Stores are also emerging like a couple or three a day (I assume). The Landscaping volume is reasonable. Water Feature isn’t finalized meaning we are about to expect better. Wall finishes are ok. But the mall tiles on some areas aren’t that good-looking (especially the small ones). Hallways aren’t that small, just enough for the zoning of the floor level (I noticed the higher the level, the higher the category of the stores, therefore smaller hallways are enough for areas were the volume of people may not be huge). Yes there are so very low signal for Smart. The toilets aren’t that beautiful but not bad. But the parking areas and exits still needs improvements. I also noticed the uniformity of the stores. They seem so very strict in implementing a look that is so distinguishing on the storefront(maybe more visible for keen eyes of architects and designers like me). Merchants, I believe had a hard time opening their stores here (just a guess).
Went to Trinoma with my family tonight. Nothing extra ordinary about it. Yes it’s huge. But that to me is not an advantage at all. I hated MOA the first time I went there because instead of enjoying the sights and the shops, we felt so lost inside the place. Same thing happened in Trinoma today.
Oh and I just have to comment on that area on the roof deck. We had coffee al fresco in Starbucks and that wooden bridge that connects the Starbucks area to the Timezone area? Seriously, they should think of securing the sides of that bridge. Yes the water underneath isn’t deep but still. You don’t want anyone falling in accidentally.
Honestly, I don’t know if I want to go back. I didn’t get to see the entire mall but based on what I saw? I don’t think so. There isn’t anything there that I can’t find in my favorites — Shang Mall and Power Plant.
Tried trinoma and loved it. Can’t wait till all the shops are open. I like the wide aisle and the high ceiling that makes you feel a lot freer and makes the space more breathable. SM City has always feel so cramped and packed. With all the stalls amid all the shops and narrow walk ways SM City has lost its appeal to me. Trinoma seemed to have made the mall with shoppers on their mind with lots of wide open spaces. Its nicer a lot of specialty shops for both on lookers and buyers. Trully I dont need to go to Greenhills, Shangrila or Glorietta to get to go and buy things from my favorite stores. I saw the billboard of SM announcing the redevelopment of SM City. Funny they should have thought of it a lot earlier. So now they few the crunch from the competition. Kasi naman ang mallng SM pang jologs na lang ang itsura. Now a lot of their shoppers have gone to Trinoma. It will take quite some time before SM can catch up now that Trinoma boast of opening at least one store per week. It won’t be long before you get the place a lot more packed. With a handful of shops at Trinoma its hard to find a decent parking space on the weekends what more when the whole thing is fully functional. Hail to the Ayala’s and to the consumers. More competition mans better malls.
If only I could figure out where I parked the park! The parking on both ends of the mall is such a dizzying maze it’s hard to find to remember most of the time where you have parked.
Now, their parking fee is P30 flat rate. Dapat nga free parking nalang. THeir parking is horrendous hahaha. The North parking is better than their Mindanao parking but still I don’t like their parking area.
Until now, the security guards are uncoordinated. One of their guards was not accommodating and rude.
GOing to the MRT is a lil bit of a hassle too. You have to cross the bridge to go to the station going to south… (or maybe I’m just too lazy hehehe) DOn’t worry they have connecting bridges going to MRT.
i am not there but i trust AYALA ‘quality’ only this time i am looking forward for an ‘ayala brand’ DREAM MALL not far from LA MESA ECOPARK bordering quezon city-caloocan city areas which i believe is a dream come true areas…..most well to do secretive filipinos live there too{i know that for a fact}but this future dream mall should have thin pastel colors MARBLE materials outside apperances-front baywindows- and has stainless metals or gold metallic no more than a yard in width or less around it’s large glass windows inside and outside street bldng windows of the entire dream mall. all doors-windows-rest rooms-wall&ceiling lamps-unique daisy flower metal shape architectural roofs design must have all the luxury-quality-grandeur it deserves to be called ‘state of the art’ and first of it’s class around the world then i can breath easily knowing AYALA finally reach the stars of all the stars possible worldwide. huwag po ninyong kakalimutan na to be considered the best of the best ay you cannot employed bastos-malicious looking employees working anywhere your GREAT ayala store…..maraming salamat po.

shoemart&robinsons malls will eventually catch up with ayala malls by supporting-help the planned expansions of tesoro’s higher end business items sooner. tesoro’s is simply of good tastes but need fashions updating. needed more high end quality selections. i say tesoros should ‘focus’on sets of oversized antique philippine furnitures reproductions-hand embroideries mix with pastel thread colors-silkin jusi pina hem&hand woven local ethnic fabrics-high heels shoes. i never doubt the capabilities of filipinos and all half filipinos no matter what descents they belong so long they keep moving to right directions. it won’t be long.

Don’t compare trinoma to Greenbelt, Powerplant or Podium… coz Trinoma is catering to a wider scope of crowd. (pwera nalang kung araw araw 50% sale ang Versace o kaya CK na laman ng mga kinukumpara niyong mall)

Hi there! I actually like Trinoma, specially yung fountains nila sa taas. Tuwang-tuwa daughter ko don, and syempre with the carousel beside the cinemas. Another good thing about it is we don’t have to go to the south to buy a cake from Contis or buy something from Landmark. Actually everything na dinadayo ko I don’t have to go very far na. I can understand the sentiments of other people who lives far from Trinoma. But I for one am glad that we have Trinoma, nakakasawa nga ang SM. I agree with the parking, it’s a bit confusing kaya I don’t dare park elsewhere but doon lang sa open parking nila near Landmark or the one in front of The Block *lol* Anyways, ok na yung a/c nila ngayon and wala na ring alikabok. Most of the shops are open na save for a few na lang.
You are so right about La Maison! I never tried eating there after you mentioned the bad service and bad food. But my folks were not warned and they tried it. They were so disappointed with the service! The salad was sooo bad my dad did not finish it. He said he even made a better salad at home. And my mom hated the service. The waiters didn’t know how to serve water. They shouldnt reach out their hand across the table to serve water to the other end. They should go to the side of the person needing the water. To the owners of La Maison, fix your restaurant or else you’ll be gone in a year.
Hi, Anton. Quite an excellent observation during TriNoma’s soft-launching. I’d been there last night (my first time), and I agree with you. It’s more like of a Robinson’s Galleria that I and my girlfriend lost our way going around. We also have difficulty finding our way back to our car. We however enjoyed the oasis-like garden at the top.
I still personally prefer the swift and easy navigation typical of SM Malls…
I would seldom visit Trinoma now due to increase in parking starting October. P40 first 4 hours and P10 succeeding. Buti pa SM, Glorietta fixed rates kahit weekends.
