If you haven’t heard what this Why Not? Forum is all about, then you have missed an awesome forum in the Philippines that (I personally believe) can change the future of the Philippines. The first forum was held last Sept. 27, in Warehouse 135, and the great ideas from great Filipinos literally blew my mind. It inspired me to think big, and as Gang Badoy would say, we should be known all over the world for asking “Bakit Hindi?”
For those who missed it, the videos of the forum are now posted online. You only need to pay attention to 4 inspiring speakers namely: Alternative Educator Gang Badoy of Rock Ed, Film Maker on the Edge, Quark Henares, (our friends from Unilever) Marketing Maverick Dondi Gomez, and dreamer priest Fr. Ted Gonzales. All the other speakers have a conflict of interest and you can see through their presentation that they were promoting their company.
The first forum was an awesome attempt. A note to Mark Ruiz who spearheaded this forum: please choose speakers that are not biased or have conflict of interest. We don’t want to bastardize the forum with self promotion and sponsored speeches, do we? Why not get Among Ed, Governor of Pampanga? Why not ask Enderun founder to share his vision of a world class Hospitality program in the Philippines?

There were at lot of yuppies attending the event and a lot of ladies. It would be nice to attend this kind of forum with your barkada. It was a bit lonely attending it right after La Salle lost (for the last time) to Ateneo and seeing a lot of Ateneans attending the forum. I got to give a “One Big Fight” cheer to the Ateneans who created this Why Not? Forum.

…..why not?….bakit hindi?….is the most ‘brave’ question ever in history of conversations….it is anyone’s human rights to asked that question anytime anywhere but not in the united states….it was that question why not? why she is NOT allowed to complain as she did….i saw a filipina american who seems to be very intelligent in mid 90’s was running for her life out of a united states ‘civilian’ office inside a military base i asked her why the rush ‘panic’ she said she’s hurrying to get out of the base she needs to hide and report to another u.s. military base police department about the abusive nature of a civilian services that’s threatening her life….she said the civilian female employee was contacting authorities to throw her in jail and mental asylum because they found out she knew what was being done to her by whitemen when she went in that office to complain about harrassments and some questionable-hostile happenings going on that does’nt make sense instead the american caucasian woman told her she needs to be locked up hearing that the filipina american escape{run like hell}while the woman called for the authorities to come for her without answering why she is not allowed to complain….why the threat so soon?….her case made me PROMISE TO MYSELF….that will not happened again!….so i like making my point and express myself freely to make sure there’s no misunderstanding between white men caucasian americans in particular and filipino americans….since most filipinos are very open friendly and family oriented i do not see what could be a problem….except in the part of some non filipino americans who has historical and superiority upper race or socio economic hang ups-chips in their shoulder or has false prides who often get shocked-annoyed even shaken when confronted by an equal or even better very strong unshakeable talented superior minded filipina american….who often asked the counterpart….why not? where’s the rule-law that says it has-must be your way? show me then i’ll show you why?….the oppositions more likely will tend to become verbally abusive or physically violent….reasons i believed the filipina woman has to run-escape the violent threats made to her when caucasians in particular are trapped with nothing else to get what she wants….i advise all to do the same{run-escape social traps}just like what that filipina american did….why?….fighting your malicious dillusional professional from throwing you in jail or asylum means trapping you to become a TRUE crimnals because if the filipna american did’nt run….more likely she will ended up basically defending herself by killing those who will kill her{if no one will know she was thrown by whitemen in asylum or jail}for millions-billions of dollars worth of bribes…..

Hey guys I had an old laptop running XP Pro. A couple of weeks ago, every time I would connect to the internet via DSL or wireless, the hard drive light would come on – as if it were writing something to the hard drive. It would cause IE to run slower than dial-up. I looked in task manager and although the CPU usage was high, there didn’t seem to be a process listed that was using it. I used LavaSoft Adaware to scan on a regular basis as well as Norton 2005. I eventually gave up and bought a new laptop (Vista Home), which now has the same problem. It is obviously related to something that I copied over to the new computer from the old computer. But the things is, Norton Internet security isn’t picking up a virus. I used it to scan everything before copying it on to the new computer. Has anyone heard of such a thing or had the same problem? I’d much rather be able to find and remove the problem rather than restore.
