The Birth of Mercato Centrale @ BGC

On this site will rise Mercato Centrale, an innovative weekend lifestyle market that will provide unique and great-tasting food finds and an extensive selection of healthy and organic options, all located in a clean, comfortable and organized market setting.

It is located on the corner of 9th Avenue and 30th Street. It is walking distance from One Serendra, Bonifacio High Street, Every Nation and nearby condominium communities.

If you look at the map, it is along the 1.2km running route of 30th Street, 7th Avenue, 28th Street and 11th Avenue around Bonifacio High Street.

We envision Mercato Centrale to be complimentary to Bonifacio High Street (BHS). The market opens at 6am in the morning and closes at 12 noon just in time for the opening of BHS shops and restaurants.

If you are standing on Mercato Centrale grounds, you can see The Spa, Bonifacio High Street.  A walking distance indeed!

Foodies can have a 75-min signature Traditional Hilot Massage (P1,200 for non-members) in an Executive Room for couples @ The Spa after going to Mercato Centrale.

Mercato Centrale is walking distance from Ayala Hotel which is being constructed in this covered parking lot (with the I Love Taguig signage).

These cute green alien street lamps are the closest landmark.

Last Friday, October 29, we officially signed the Memorandum of Agreemenent (MOA) between Mercato Centrale, represented by JOSE ANTONIO DIAZ and FORTUNE LEDESMA; and Bonifacio Global City, represented by MANUEL BLAS II and LOURDES REYES.

We are excited to soft open Mercato Centrale on November 21, Sunday.

  1. hi, anton! those cute green alien street lamps are actually solar powered. 🙂 they’re called, solar tree. cool, no?

  2. Hi Anton! Congratulations on this latest of a string of grand ventures!
Joyce and I would really like to be part of this new foodie haven – I already emailed Rache about it. We deferred signifying our intention because we weren’t sure at first of our availability since we are currently participating in a weekend desserts bazaar at The Venice Piazza in McKinley Hill and are currently shortlisted for the December leg of the Eastwood City Mall Weekend Gourmet Market. But we figured that being included in the roster of suppliers of Mercato Centrale is just too good an opportunity to pass up, hence our delayed decision. At any rate, here’s looking forward to receiving a most favorable response from you.
Again more power to OAP and this project!

  3. I thought the reason why they covered the parking lot was to secure the cars, they’re going to build another building pala. Once the hotel is built, parking will be even more scarce and difficult to find.

  4. wow cool. we’re near the area and will surely drop by! is this only for the christmas season? i hope not 🙁 i’d love to go here for foodtripping every weekend and make it a routine. when is it opening and any clues on what stalls we’re gonna see there?

  5. The food choices in Mercato Centrale is great. I just hope it can go green. I wince with guilt at the sight of all the plastic and styro collected at the tables.
