Our favorites are the banana bread and carrot cake. They are yummy, and people can’t believe that they don’t have butter.

The Story behind EVERYDAY MOM:

My name is Pamela Lim and I’m a full-time mom and home baker.  I recently had a “new baby”— my very own cakeshop called Everyday Mom, located at Scout Tuason corner Roces Ave in QC.  Having a quaint little bakeshop is a dream come true for me. I have been baking since I was a kid, but it was only when I became a mother that I became cautious about the ingredients I put in or the equipment I use.

At Everyday Mom, all our goodies are made with natural ingredients and baked in non-toxic stainless steel pans. We use unbleached flour (as opposed to regular chemically treated bleached flour that has no real nutritional value), aluminum-free baking soda and baking powder, sea salt and natural flavors like pure vanilla extract. We don’t use artificial sweeteners, food colors or flavors and we definitely don’t put in preservatives. We also don’t use butter; instead, we use heart- healthy rice bran oil which is unsaturated fat and it has anti-oxidant benefits. We do this because we believe providing healthy food is truly a mother’s natural way of showing how much she cares for her family.
