CIRCUIT MAKATI is Ayala’s 21-hectare Family Entertainment and Leisure Village located in the former Sta. Ana Racetrack in Makati.
It’s Ayala’s answer to Resorts World and Mall of Asia. It’s better than Resorts World in a way because it is a Family Entertainment hub minus the casino and the smoky mall.
One of its anchor establishments is the Globe Circuit Events Ground with a World-Class Performance Art Venue and an Outdoor Concert Venue with a 2,000-square meter canopy area that can house up to 1,000 people and additional 20,000 in the two-hectare open grounds.
Check out the new CIRCUIT MAKATI:
Here’s an artistic bird’s eye view of Circuit Makati from the Pasig River with the Main Makati Business District in the background.
The 2,000-square-meter canopy area, and the two-hectare open grounds area in the Globe Circuit Events Ground were the first areas to be completed.
Next is an Alveo Residential Development, Central Walkway – a Bonifacio High Street-like Outdoor Lifestyle Mall with a distinct water feature, and Circuit Theatre, a 1,500-seater “Broadway-type” performing arts venue. It will also feature a football turf and a skate park.
Here’s the artist rendition of the Globe Circuit Canopy Tent Area.
Here is how it looked like during the grand launch of Makati Circuit last January 15.
It was cool to hangout because of the relatively fresher air, the Pasig River breeze and the cold evening ambiance.
There is already outdoor amphitheater area with Pasig River as the backdrop.
You can appreciate the Makati Business District skyline from Makati Circuit. Enjoy the view while it lasts before it gets covered by the rising-development projects.
During the launch, we got a taste of the new-breed Broadway musical talent Anna Maria Perez De Tagle, granddaughter of Sylvia La Torre, dubbed as the next Lea Salonga because of her soothing Filipina voice.

Full Disclosure: I wrote this blog post myself, and it expresses my own opinions. Mercato which I co-founded is currently in talks with Makati Circuit to put a Night Food Market.
As a policy, I don’t receive compensation from food and travel places we feature in the blog.
P.S. The best way to get to Circuit Makati if you are coming from Ayala is to drive straight along South Avenue all the way crossing J.P. Rizal. The other way is via Don Chino Roces Avenue (formerly called Pasong Tamo).
I was also there at their Grand Launch. sayang Anton I havent had a chance to meet you in person.
