ABOUT DAN MATUTINA
Dan Matutina is an established Filipino designer and illustrator who works under the
name Twistedfork. He stands out from other artists with his ironic style of fusing opposite
techniques and forms but making them work amazingly together. Dan’s designs are
heavily inspired by films, science, myths and folklore. His works, including the infamous
“Versus/Hearts,” have been featured in several leading local and international
magazines. Known for his mixing of handmade and digital, clean and dirty, old and
modern aesthetics, he combines colors with different textures and shapes to tell a story.
My wife Rache selected the Pool Green Sole with Silver Metallic Strap.
She preferred to put plain crystals and 3 stars pins on one side of the strap. She also decided to put a heart and hot air balloon pins on the left sole + paisley and sun pins on the right sole.
Thanks to Nadine for creating the Make Your Own Havaianas pair for my wife 🙂
For me, I usually prefer simple designs like Black Sole with Amazonia “Animo Green” Strap.
I chose the left and right wing pins with the spacesuit, rocket, alien pins highlights.
TIP: Make sure that pins are spaced properly with the right orientation.
Thanks to Eros for making my Make Your Own Havaianas pair entitled, “Fly Me to Space & Beyond.”
