It was recently awarded as Manila’s Best Burger Joint at Manila’s Best Restaurant Awards 2014, and I agree!

8 Cuts Burger Blend has a young, industrial hangout ambiance with blue, red, and orange highlights.

The burger patties are blended and hand-pressed on-site.
The burgers are seared and assembled on order…
…with your choice of buns–Sesame, Brioche, or Kaiser…
…plus your choice of toppings–vegetables, cheese, and housemade sauces.
We tasted the 8 Cuts custom patty blends one by one during the Mega Fashion Hall food tour to help determine the best.
✮ THE HOUSE BLEND. A blend of SHORT RIB + RIBEYE. Flavor Profile: Meaty, Juicy, Classic.
The House Blend is their bestseller. It’s also the juiciest because of its higher fat-to-meat ratio.
The BEEF BOMB. A Blend of CHUCK + SHORT RIB. Flavor Profile: Fresh, Well-Balanced, Great All-Around.
This was a bit safe and the most boring among the five blends.
✮ The OX BLEND. A Blend of FLANK + OXTAIL + RIB EYE. Flavor Profile: Umami, Intense, Beefy.
The Ox Blend is my favorite because of its umami, malinamnam taste. A lot of fun to eat.
The BIG GAME. A Blend of HANGER + BRISKET. Flavor Profile: Gamey, Bold, Aged Beef Flavors.
The Big Game is a bit chewy compared to the rest of the other blends.
✮ The STEAK CUT. A Blend of SIRLOIN + CHUCK. Flavor Profile: Rich, Loves Sharp & Tangy Toppings, No-Nonsense.
I also like this because of its steaky texture. Get this if you want more of a meaty flavor.
✮ The Cheeseburger (P195). A single quarter-pounder house blend all-beef patty with American cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and your choice of sauce no. 3 or no. 4 on a sesame seed bun.
The signature cheeseburger is enough to satisfy your cravings for a good, fresh burger.
The Franch (P295). A quarter-pounder OX BLEND patty of flank, ox tail, and rib eye with gruyere, caramelized onions and ranch dressing, sweet pickles, tomatoes, and potato chips, all on a Brioche bun.
I like the Ox Blend burgers–like The Franch–with gruyere cheese, caramelized onions, and potato chip toppings.
✮ The Q-Daddy (Tri-Cut P295). A quarter-pounder OX BLEND patty of flank, ox tail, and rib eye with yellow cheddar, onion tanglers, crisp bacon strips, iceberg lettuce, tomato, jalapeno ranch, and sweetly spiced BBQ sauce, all on a Sesame Seed Bun.
The Q-Daddy is 8 Cuts’ version of the bacon burger using the Ox Blend patty with sweet BBQ sauce.
Sometimes, it’s best to order a burger with minimal toppings so that you can enjoy the flavor of the burger itself and so it doesn’t get overpowered by the toppings.
Onion Rings (P65). Make sure to order our favorite big, crispy onion rings on the side.
Order the House Blend, Ox Blend, or Steak Cut Blend and put minimal toppings to fully enjoy the flavor of the fresh, hand-pressed burger patties. Order the Cheese Burger or Q-Daddy with onion rings on the side to satisfy your burger cravings. Budget about P300/person.

We tried their trinoma branch. We had the Steak Cut and Ox Blend.
and we really dont get what the fuss is all about. The burgers/patties were really BLAND!
My girlfriend had cheese in her burger, I just had the regular sauce and the patty (so we can taste the differences of the two burgers we ordered).
Seriously, 200 pesos for a burger with no taste, I really dont get it.
Snack Shack Burger in maginhawa is 10x better, and it only costs 70pesos per quarter pound burger!
This is supposed to be the one to replace the throne of Charlie’s Grind and Grill burger? THAT’S A JOKE!
Summary: 8 CUTS and BURGER PROJECT = OVERRATED. I’d rather eat at Burger Machine. Yes I’m dead serious!

I think i said ‘ang sarap!!!’ 10x while chewing it. I suppose it’s pricey but it’s worth it naman.

maybe yours was unseasoned. i’ve been here at least 5 times in the past month and had a different burger every time, and every one was delicious. this place is awesome.
