We were pleasantly surprised to discover QiWellness Living–a Budji Royal-designed Chinese Tea & Bath House–with probably the best overlooking vantage point of Taal Volcano.
We tried their 3-hour Quick Escape Package for couples on our 12th year wedding anniversary.
Here’s our QiWellness Experience…

Wednesday to Sunday- 11:30am to 2:30pm 6:30pm to 10:00pm
The Chinese Bath House
Monday – CLOSED
Tuesday to Sunday – 1:00pm to 10:00pm
The tea house serves degustacion set menus and a la carte featuring East-meets-West continental cuisine.
The Yin-Yang hot & cold pool is on the lowest level for added privacy. You can take a dip in the hot pool in Tagaytay’s cold weather while overlooking the Taal Volcano with your special someone.
There are two private rooms you can reserve that come with sauna, shower, and toilet and where you can have your couple’s massage after.
We loved the 30-minute foot reflexology massage using the Ingham method–one of the best reflexology massages I’ve had. 🙂
Afterwards, you choose between a 90 minute massage of:
Qiharmony – a hard dry massage using acupressure, reflexology and tui-na techniques.
This dry signature massage, done fully clothed, is a revitalizing massage that applies acupressure, reflexology, and tui-na techniques on your head, shoulders, hands, arms, feet, legs, and back. This massage is done in our “opium den” or by the yin yang pool. P1,880 (90 minutes)
Or..
Silk – the signature deeply relaxing signature massage using a special massage balm.
This soothing and deeply relaxing signature massage uses our ‘silk’massage balm with flowing strokes and motions, and leaves no oily after-feel after the massage, just a well-moisturized skin. This massage is done in a private room by our pond. P2,180 (90 minutes)
You can then have a romantic candlelight dinner afterwards.
Note: We were not able to try the food because the place is not kid friendly. Check out Jane’s post on QiWellness Living.
TIP: It’s best to go at around 3pm and start your massage at 4pm to catch the beautiful Tagaytay sunset.

Overall, a highly recommended place for those special milestone celebrations with your special someone or for a simple spa date with your friends.
We both liked the foot reflexology massage. I personally liked the dry and hard Qi Harmony massage while my wife loved her Silk signature massage, which lulled her to sleep. And taking a dipping in the hot pool in the cold weather of Tagaytay with a view of Taal Volcano was such a treat!
Leave the kids at home.

This was the top quality of places in Tagaytay back in the late 60’s that my father used to take business associates.
Through this blog, I was able to revive those memories, and I hope that families will also have those memories.
Oh wow! What a paradise, if I ever go to Asia I would love to visit that place. Your photos could be from travel agency’s advertisement, so beautiful! 🙂
wow looks like an amazing individual hotel !
great find
Agree, their concept is great and the place has the best view of taal lake and volcano. It would a be a great respite to spend your late afternoon for a spa treatment with the best view. However, we got the overnight escape package and I think it is not the best idea. Their room is stark and dim, you cant read a book. No TV and wifi is intermittent. There is no one to readily assist you after 9, so you kind of feel left on your own. There are no toiletries as well. That, I did not see coming, considering the price you pay overnight, you would expect the best overnight accommodation, all the works. Breakfast was good, you get a set of congee and dumplings which comes with the room. The idea of quick spa and dining is great but I say Qi is not ready yet or committed in its overnight escape package. If any consolation, you will have the yin yang pool all to yourself the next morning as they only accommodate one party per night.
Hi! Just want to ask if do they have like free food or free dinner for the 3 hour package? Thanks a lot! 🙂
