Finally, we are ready to announce the most exciting tasting event that most food lovers and connoisseurs in Manila are waiting for this 2016!

Our Awesome Planet and San Miguel Lifestyle Brews present the 2016 Ultimate Taste Test, the celebrated food tasting event, on September 17, 2016 Saturday at the SMX Convention Center – Aura from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

This much-anticipated annual food trip enables food lovers to be food-critics-for-a-day by sampling mouth-watering new flavors from over 40+ home-based food businesses and new food discoveries in Manila.

Now staging the 14th in the UTT series – Ultimate Taste Test 2016, food blog pioneer Anton Diaz of Our Awesome Planet embarks on the first UTT event at SMX Convention Center – Aura.

I. About Ultimate Taste Test:

Ultimate Taste Test 2016 is a gathering of different concessionaires who give a free taste of their latest goodies that are already in the market, have just been launched or will soon to be launch.

The atmosphere is festive and everybody has a good time giving in to all kinds of gustatory delights. Visitors get to rate the food prepared on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest.

The top participants who get the highest ratings get to be featured in the food blog site, Our Awesome Planet, which will help boost their popularity and sales even more.

Foodies love the signature Hanjuku cheesecake by Kumori, the cheesecake is characterized as being light and fluffy, compared to the the American version that is dense and heavy.

The half-baked cheesecake with cream cheese center comes in a palm-size treat, they are best enjoyed when relished in small bites. Notice the mousse-like texture, it’s a delightful treat nothing too sweet or too creamy.

I also like the Krone which is a combination of cones and croissants filled fresh daily with creamy custard in the store.
