Mystery Manila
This newest branch at Ayala Malls The 30th features three new rooms to solve — Sorcerer’s Stone, Rebel Resistance, Mr. Moriarty and Morbid Morgue. We were fortunate enough to try the Harry Potter and Star Wars themed rooms.

Sorcerer's Stone: Mystery Manila
Sorcerer’s Stone
The evil dark wizard Sidious plots another diabolical scheme to get his hands on the famed Sorcerer’s Stone that grants wealth and immortality to whoever possesses it.
You and your team of brave wizards must stop Sidious from his evil plan before it’s too late.
You have an hour to finish the mission and save the world of wizardry.

The best part was wearing the wizardly robes. Too bad the robes weren’t ready yet when we visited. 🙁

It is highly advised to arrive 30 minutes before your reserved time slot to get the proper orientation for the game. Board games are available in the waiting area to keep you occupied before playing.

The game master explained that if you solve the mystery in 30 minutes or less, you get a special Mystery Manila shirt. If you solve it in under 45 minutes, you get pens. Lastly, if you solve it in an hour, you get bragging rights! These prizes are just motivations, but the process of solving it is the fun part!

Sorcerer's Stone: Mystery Manila

Once we entered the room, we were transported to a space in the Hogwarts territory.

The frames and clipped articles on the wall are significant parts of the chamber.

The best part is the Harry Potter interactive wand that’ll help you perform the spell casting and tricks!

Every nook and cranny are filled with clues! Be sure to go through them all!

Team OAP was able to finish it in less than an hour. Mystery Solved for our team!

Overall, we highly recommend Sorcerer’s Stone! It’s an excellent room for beginners, and you don’t need to be a Potterhead to enjoy the room. It was a great mystery that involved a lot of teamwork. It is best to book beforehand since slots get filled up quickly. Clues can be asked but it is best to try to solve it on your own for the full experience. It makes you think critically and logically. It’s best to be in a group of five to make the experience worthwhile and make your bond stronger through solving the mystery together.

Congratulations Mystery Manila’s for opening your newest branch at Ayala the 30th!
