1. Hot Air Balloons. More than 30 local and international balloons will be participating for this year’s event. Over 100,000 expected local and foreign guests will be treated to a magnificent display of shapes and colors.
(TIP: Balloons are scheduled to fly between 5:30 to 6:30 AM, so be sure to make an early trip out of Manila to witness the balloons fly out.)
2. Eat and Drink. A wide range of choices will keep you full during the event. Choose from familiar favorites like barbecue, shawarma, and siomai; or have your fill of burgers and chicken from local joints; and of course – Pampanga is known for their cooking skills, so make sure you try their local delicacies as well.
3. Activities. Missed the morning balloon flight? Consider some of the other activities in the area to keep you busy until the night’s festivities. Pet some animals with Zoocobia, bounce around on the Inflatables, play a game of laser tag with LazerMaxx, and even fly kites!
4. Aerial Exhibition. Kite-flying exhibitionists and paragliders are set to perform awesome maneuvers and choreographed feats in the air.
5. Night Glow. At night, balloons will be lit and tethered to the ground for your viewing pleasure and of course, this makes for a wonderful photo opportunity.

6. Fireworks. At the end of each day, guests can look forward to a stunning display of fireworks to light up the sky.
7. Music Festival. For the first time ever, international acts are included in the lineup. Alex Aiono and Redfoo and the Party Rock Crew are scheduled to perform on the last day. Local artists like SpongeCola, Parokya ni Edgar, Gloc-9, Yeng Constantiono, and Bamboo are also scheduled to play on different days of the event.
HOW TO GET THERE:
TRANSIT FROM MANILA
• Ride Genesis, Victory Liner, and Bataan Transit bus going to Olangapo or Balanga ask the bus conductor if they will pass by Lubao, Pampanga
• If the bus will pass Lubao, then ask the bus conductor to drop you off at Pradera Verde where the Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place
• All bus liners takes a bus stop over in Lubao
• Genesis bus stop over terminal is a walking distance away from Pradera Verde
• For Victory Liner, its a 15 minutes away from Pradera Verde
FROM SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA
• Ride a Jeepney going to Sta.Cruz or Gua-Gua. Go down to the Jeepney Terminal
• In the Jeepney Terminal. Ride a Jeepney going to Dinalupihan. Ask the drive to drop you off at Pradera Verde where the Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place
FROM BATAAN AND OLONGAPO
• Ride a Jeepney going to Dinalupihan, Bataan. Go down to the Jeepney Terminal
• In the Jeepney Terminal. Ride a Jeepney going to Sta. Cruz or Gua-Gua. Ask the drive to drop you off at Pradera Verde where the Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place or
• Ride a Victory Liner bus going to San Fernando, Pampanga or Manila. ask the bus conductor to drop you off at Pradera Verde where the Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place

My 2-year old daughter has always loved the idea of colorful big balloons up in the sky.. And honestly, it’s so cute and just makes me feel proud whenever she enumerates every color and shape that she sees among a group of balloons or other interesting things around her.. It is also awesome that she already knows what a hot air balloon looks like 😀 I am sure she will love it if I take her to the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival..
