MARMALADE KITCHEN is the restaurant and kitchen studio of Chef Aileen Anastacio of Goodies & Sweet’s fame. It serves all-day breakfast and comfort food favorites that Filipinos love. The restaurant is also a popular venue for 50-60 pax private events in BGC and her kitchen studio hosts intimate cooking & baking classes for a minimum group of 6. 

Thanks to her innovative collaborative spirit, she has outlasted most of the restaurants in this little corner of BGC.

We recently revisited Chef Aileen’s bestsellers and tried her recent Potatoes USA collaboration inspired by the US Potato Safari concept, an annual campaign challenging local restaurateurs to create innovative US potato recipes.

The cafe specializes in all-day breakfast, pasta, and comfort food items, with prices ranging from P250-P400.

US Potato, Chorizo, and Egg Quesadilla (P285)

This quesadilla uses mashed potatoes made from US dehydrated potatoes with cilantro instead of mashed beans to give it a smoother flavor profile.

Carrot, Orange, and Pineapple
Pomelo, Orange, and Lemon

Marmalade is one of the few restaurants that presses their juices upon order to guarantee their freshness.

US Potato, Crab, and Artichoke Croquettes (P350)

Inspired by Chef Aileen’s trip to San Seb, these croquette balls are made with dehydrated US potato, crab meat, and artichoke.

This is the best seat in the house, with comfortable lounge chairs, plenty of sunlight, a long table good for conversations.

A perfect combination of squid ink-flavored pasta in contrast with a generous topping of seafood in creamy tomato sauce. Sarap!

Overall, Marmalade Kitchen is a foodie haven you can keep coming back to. Here, you can enjoy really good breakfast and comfort food from a solid, consistent menu, as well as new creative additions like the US Potato quesadilla and croquettes.

Check out the Kitchen Studio where people can enroll and learn to cook and bake from Chef Aileen herself. Teaching is something she loves to do until today.

    Chef Aileen has an awesome thing going. I love the breakfast all day theme. Too few restaurants do it but especially here in the West folks dig pancakes or eggs and bacon or any breakfast fare any time during the day. Like a treat. You are used to a nice full Saturday morning brekky but having it later feels special for some weird reason. Thanks for sharing 🙂
