McDo patrons recently discovered the well-loved chain’s secret menu featuring premium burgers: (L-R) Double McChicken, Triple Cheeseburger, Surf ‘N Turf, and Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese.
We did a taste test of the new burgers with the family and team. Here’s what we think and our ranking:
Don’t be surprised that there won’t be any merchandising of the new premium burgers in store.
Just ask the crew for the #McDoSecretMenu from 10.30am onwards.
Buy the four premium burgers with fries and drink or a la carte to try the different flavor combinations and do a taste test with 4-6 friends.
1. Surf ‘N Turf (₱159 A la Carte)
Our favorite! We like the crispy texture contrast of the fish fillet with the tasty beef patty with American cheese and a special sauce. What a treat!
It’s the bigger burger among the four in terms of height. Best to eat a bit of the beef patty and fish fillet in one bite to enjoy it.
2. Triple Cheeseburger (₱149 A la Carte)
Imagine triple layers of the 100% pure beef patty with melted American cheese in between.
This is so good with melted cheese in between, and you can savor the pure beef taste of the patty.
3. Double McChicken (₱149 A la Carte)
We always wanted double the chicken goodness in our McChicken burger topped with creamy mayonnaise and shredded lettuce. Now, it came true!
4. Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese (₱215 A la Carte)
Half pounder burger for the times that you are super hungry. You will never be hangry anymore.
Head to any McDo near you from 10.30am onwards (or have it delivered to your doorstep via 86-2-36), just ask the crew for the #McDoSecretMenu.
It’s a great way to enjoy time with the whole family or if you want to have a McDo taste test bonding session with your friends.
