The moment you step into the lobby, you feel right at home with everyone greeting you with the hotel’s signature salute of touching the heart.
Primea is the only luxury hotel with a Preferred Hotels & Resorts status in the metro.
2-Bedroom Loft
Every time your back touches the bed, it’s so comfortable it lulls you to sleep.
It has a 2-sink bathroom, separate toilet and shower, bathtub with tv, which the boys loved.
The 4 boys can still fit in the adjacent kids’ room without the need for an extra bed.
They have their own restroom so they don’t have to queue up in the main bathroom.
The bedrooms are separated from the main living room and kitchen for added privacy and quiet moments.
The kids brought the PlayStation and converted the living room into a gaming area, and there’s still plenty of space to relax.
You can cook your own food or order-in so that you can just enjoy and relax in your 2-bedroom loft.
You can secure your own workspace during the weekend stay. They do have a decent wifi connection.
Loved this patio area where you can hang out with a beer while the sun sets in the horizon.
BREAKFAST (TAPENADE)
The boys always look forward to the healthy Mediterranean breakfast at Tapenade .
Never boring salad combination and ingredients to inspire you to have a healthy start.
The boys loved the eat-all-you-can yogurt and mango and drink-all-you-can Yakult!
You can enjoy different freshly baked breads with your choice of jams and spreads.
The buffet spread, well-curated and freshly cooked, satisfies your breakfast cravings.
Don’t miss out on their breakfast bacon!
You can enjoy bits and pieces of nuts, dried fruits, fish, sausages, century egg and chili garlic sauce.
BREAKFAST (IN-ROOM)
In-Room Menu: Breakfast, Pasta & Pizza, Filipino, Asian | Breakfast Ala Carte, Soup, Sandwiches, Entrees, Appetizers & Salad, From the Grill | Beverage, Dessert, Kids
Tapenade Breakfast is a bit hectic when you wake up late, so it’s best to order in-room breakfast.
You can order ala carte and enjoy the food while wearing your pajamas and slippers, which you can’t do at Tapenade.
For the total lazy breakfast experience, order the Filipino set with bread, fruits and juice.
End with a French toast and coffee to complete your morning.
In-room breakfast dining is always the best without the crowds and the need to dress up. Besides, you can enjoy it as late as you want.
INFINITY POOL
We spent hours at the infinity pool, with a nice view of the Makati skyline.
Yugi loved the pool, and we are always thankful to experience every pool moment with him.
Aidan is a teenager now who enjoys Jacuzzi moments like this alone.
LUNCH (GILARMI LOUNGE)
Gilarmi Cocktail Lounge, the lobby lounge of Discovery Primea, is one of the best hotel lounges in Manila.
Usually, hotel lounges are just token spots for guests to hang out in and not really places to come looking for quality. But we were surprised by how good the quality of the comfort food was paired with gin and tonic or cocktails.

THE EDGE
As the sun sets over Makati, still the best place to be is at the Edge for cocktails and Flame for dinner.
Edge is a garden lounge/rooftop bar located on the 16th floor with a view of the Urdaneta neighborhood and Makati skyline.
Enjoy their signature drink-all-you-can prosecco to start the night and get conversations going with your friends.
Drinks Menu: Famous, Forgotten, Signature | Fancy, Mocktails | Vodka, Gin, Rum, Tequila, Whiskey | Whisky, Cognac
You can meet your friends over rounds of cocktails without worrying about the time or going home drunk.
You can start with an appetizer of Wagyu Beef cubes and a warm-up conversation with friends.
Since we can leave the kids in the room, we can enjoy a few more cocktails before having dinner.
DINNER (FLAME RESTAURANT)
FLAME Restaurant is Primea’s fine casual restaurant, by Executive Chef Luis Chikiamco, which now focuses on Modern Asian cuisine that is “all at once playful and sophisticated.”
This is one of the best places to dine in Makati, with a 16th floor vantage point of the metro and food that is always on point and relevant.

DINNER (TAPENADE)
Tapenade is one of our favorite restaurants in the metro for all-day dining and meetings with friends or business associates because of the salad bar and the Mediterranean take on the food. You can eat healthily and not be bloated after the meal. What’s more, each dish is something different from what’s usual in Manila.

TERAZI SPA
A Primea stay is not complete without experiencing their signature Terazi Holistic Spa Massage. (Terazi Spa Menu)
The massage starts with a Filipino scrub while you lay on a bed of banana leaves followed by the therapeutic massage, which is a combination of Lomi Lomi movements, acupressure points and Swedish massage.
Ending with a cleansing facial and refreshing cucumber while you sleep.

This is definitely the best Filipino 5-star Hotel experience in Manila!

One other thing that you may be more successful than I since you are well known to the GM’s of our 5 Star hotels is again to implore them to remove bodyguards and drivers sitting in the lobby sleeping while waiting for their filipino bosses. Most unattractive. I befriended the GM of Shang Makati about 15 years ago and he actioned an response. Sadly a new GM has never replied to me. The Fort Shang has responded by removing most seating in the lobby. Sadly too the exterior walls of the Shang Makati and Pen are looking shabby with soot.. The GM’s are not keen to respond to my emails. All the best
