Menu…

1. They boast a wide array of 19 Side Dishes!

The promo price for the UNLIMITED YAKINIKU is Php 549! It already includes side dishes, tempura, sushi rolls and 13 choices of meat!

Before your choice of meat arrives at your table, you will be welcomed by numerous bowls of side dishes for starters.

SUSHI ROLLS
You can start with a few bites of sushi rolls. They have Spicy Tuna Maki, California Maki and Yoshi Ebi Maki. Be careful not to overeat. I limited myself to eating just one of each and paced myself for the main event.

I personally liked the Spicy Tuna Maki and Ebi Maki. The California maki was just ok.

EBI TEMPURA

We liked the ebi tempura; it was pulpy and juicy and wasn’t the type that was mostly breading!

Best to dip it in their Japanese vinegar in the condiments section. A must order!

KIMCHI BUTTERED RICE
Skip the plain rice and order their kimchi buttered fried rice! You’ll love the slightly tangy and kicking spicy flavors of the kimchi.

MASHED POTATO
It had a smooth creamy texture and great flavor. A must order.

2. 11 Kinds of Meat.

Beef: Sliced Beef, Sliced Beef with Curry Sauce, Spicy Beef Yakinuku, Sliced Fatty Beef Yakinuku
Pork: Herbed Pork, Spicy Sliced Pork Baguette, Yangnyeum pork
Meat on Stick: Pork Intestine, Chicken Liver, Chicken Yakitori
Others: Wiener Sausage, *Sakana Tofu, *Seafood Cheeseball

Note: The items under Premium Grilling aren’t included in the unlimited promo.

SLICED BEEF
For our first plate, we tried the sliced beef because it was the easiest to cook plus we get to taste the real beefy flavor without any marinade.

I liked the cuts in this branch; they weren’t as fatty as those in other Kbbq joints.

SLICED CURRY BEEF
Same meat as the sliced beef but with hints of spice and a bit more flavorful. A must order.

SPICY BEEF YAKINIKU
For those who love spicy food, this is the dish for you. The meat was marinated in a red sauce giving that little kick of spiciness that we just loved.

YANGNYEUM PORK
The pork was a bit hard and lacking in flavor, but I heard others loved it. Maybe we just had a bad serving.

SEAFOOD CHEESEBALL
The seafood balls are my favorite at any shabu-shabu restaurant. I was happy to know they had it here. The yummy seafood ball had a bouncy fluffy texture with a strong taste of fish and bursting with gooey cheese in each bite! A must order.

WEINERS
Skip the Weiners.

PORK INTESTINE
Their isaw na baboy was insanely good. I knew it was a cheap alternative but the addictively chewy meat went so well with their Japanese vinegar we just couldn’t help ourselves. We ordered 5 servings of this btw, haha!

3. The Cheese & Egg

Another thing we loved about Yoshimeatsu was the grill. The eggs and cheese are normally cooked on the side where the oil from the meats usually drip, but we found our griller at the end of the meal to be oil-free.

EGGS
The eggs were really good! They were nicely seasoned and had a delightful fluffy texture. A must order.

CHEESE
The cheese was very watery for me and didn’t stick much to the meat. Skip it.

4. High-Tech Features

Just pretty much like in Japan where everything is automated and techie, the Korean-Japanese barbecue restaurant provided the same experience you’d get from abroad.

Each table had a tablet where you can manually press what orders you’d want refilled. So cool!

5. Dessert and Drinks

While the drinks were not part of the buffet, we were still happy to find our favorite Suntory Subzero Drink, an easy-drinking cocktail with a high alcohol level that’ll hit you as hard as three beers would. If you haven’t tried this in Japan, I recommend you try it here.

Look at Kevin… he only had one can, haha!

The soft-serve ice cream was a must to end the meal! Served with a cone, the strawberry flavor was really good. How good, you might ask? We had two servings each. The vanilla was just so-so though.

I also heard they have new flavors, including Avocado,  Milk Tea, Taro and Leche Flan that come with pearls. Plus Strawberry, Ube, Vanilla and Buko that come with a cone.
