  1. To Anton, Rache and the rest of the Mercato Centrale @ BGC core group:
    Simply awesome job, guys! Kudos!

And such a distinguished roster of merchants! Makes me feel either it’s an honor or quite daunting to be in their company next year, hehe…
Indeed it would be an understatement to say that those are rather seriously good eats sumptuously splayed all over your photo essay. You captured the essence of Mercato Centrale down pat! Definitely worth the trip every weekend morning and soon come midnight as well – can hardly wait for the latter!
Again congratulations and more trailblazing blessings to come your way in 2011!

  2. I hate Mercato Centrale! There is no point waking up in the morning to burn calories running around Fort just to end up in Mercato gaining double the calories back! huhuhu
But please, bring Manang’s chicken and Dulcelin back next year : )
On a different note, are you sending the new year party lists anytime soon?

  3. Hi Ted,

  6. Thanks for this list, Anton! Sure comes in handy because it can get overwhelming at times when you see so much food side by side. Will start with this list then try other booths outside of the list later.

from “Mad about Spuds”- yummy!!! I’ll miss it.. I’m back to California!!
