TACOS CHINGONES: Cool Mexican Street Taco Cart in Manila :)

Taco Chingones
TACOS CHINGONES is a street taco food cart by Aljor Perreras of A’ Toda Madre fame, who is passionate about bringing authentic Mexican food experiences to the country.

The taco cart is inspired by the street taco carts of Mexico and a spin-off of A’ Toda Madre’s yummy tacos.

The cart is usually parked in front of A’ Toda Madre’s commissary, beside Som’s Noodle House.

They serve a single bite serving of pancake-like soft taco with your choice of meat toppings. Order the Gringa version, which is like a quesadilla, if you like a bigger taco and more satisfying portion.

The food is cooked on the cart and assembled upon order.

Order different flavors so you can do your own taste test. I recommend the Barbacoa or the Carnitas.

I like the overall food cart concept that you can move around the Brgy. Poblacion neighborhood, or even to your private events.

The taco portion is a bit bitin but good if you want to try different types of tacos. Order the gringas if you really like to enjoy the taste of the meats.

Taste-wise it’s just OK. I find it priced a bit on the high side considering the portion size. I suppose there’s some novelty in eating in a well-designed food cart on the streets.

Note: Standing room only.
