The Big Banquet 3 (TBB3), the Battle of the Best Caterers in Manila, was held last July 5, 2015 at the Blue Leaf Events Pavilion, McKinley Hill.
Excitement for the 2015 TBB was high because most of the caterers were expected to elevate their setup as well as the quality of their food and service. Because of this, tickets were sold out more than a week before the actual event. There were a total of 11 caterers, with 10 established contenders–Bizu, K by Cunanan, Juan Carlo, Albergus, Hizon’s, Tijoe, Red Chef, Center Table, Josiah’s, Mesclun, and 1 new caterer–Passion Cook.

Each caterer has a box where the foodies can drop their votes.
- San Miguel Premium All Malt‘s smooth, light, and malty flavor is best paired with chicken and fish. It’s a good beer to start with as you go from smooth to dry to bold flavored beer.
- San Miguel Super Dry is best paired with pork and beef. Most beer connoisseurs like Super Dry because of the hoppy flavor and extra dry taste.
- Cerveza Negra is paired with dessert especially with chocolate, which pairs nicely with the caramel tones of the beer.
Congratulations to BIZU for being the Best Overall Caterer winner in The Big Banquet 3 with a total of 841 votes! They also won the following categories: Best in Main Dish, Best in Dessert, and Best Signature Dish.
