Klook.comCASA ITALIA is a modern day Italian Bar serving micro-roasted Coffee OTTO, handcrafted premium Gelato, and freshly made Italian comfort food favorites, set in an Italian casual chic café. It’s the “Starbucks” of Italian coffee and gelato!
The recently opened branch in Manila is a franchise of the popular gelato shop in Singapore. From the outside, it looks like a normal gelato and coffee place, but you’ve got to check out their pasta, pizza, and panini cooked the Italian way.

The gelato display greets you as you enter the restaurant, with the bakery kitchen at the back.
The interiors are designed by a distinguished Italian interior designer and the furniture imported from Italy.
Go to the mezzanine floor for a quiet dining space or office space to work with decent free WiFi.
CASA ITALIA MENU: Gelato, Fresh from the Oven | Coffee, Tea & Frappe
It’s a great place for a nice lunch or a light dinner followed by coffee, gelato, and good conversations.
You can check out their freshly baked goods from the in-house bakery serving waffles, muffins, cakes, focaccia, panini, and croissant.
We love the Italian sausage panini with freshly baked bread and thick sausage…
…and the three cheese panini.
They use their own signature Coffee Otto (8) 100% Arabica coffee beans, medium roasted, and consumed within 8 weeks to keep its freshness and aroma.
PASTA
The pasta is cooked al dente with just the right amount of sauce, served on a ceramic bowl to keep it hot.
Gamberetti (P280)
This shrimp tomato pasta is good–not too sweet with a well-balanced tomato flavor.
Bolognese (P230)
The kids like the pasta but they were fighting over the freshly baked bread to dip into the tomato sauce.
★ Beef Lasagna (P250)
We love the lasagna with thin, soft layers of pasta and the perfect ratio of cheese and beef.
The vegetarian version is equally good with mushroom flavors.
★ Chicken Cannelloni (P300)
For something different, order the cannelloni pasta with chicken meat.
MAINS
★ Meatballs with Pomodoro Sauce (P250)
The boys surprisingly love these meatballs with tomato sauce made the Italian way, which is not too sweet and with a good tomato consistency.
★ 1/2 Roast Chicken with Potatoes (P350)
Our personal favorite–half chicken with clean-tasting roasted flavors of rosemary and different herbs. Maybe they can have a rice option instead of potatoes.
Fish Fillet w/ Siciliana Sauce (P350)
This is a good healthy choice–baked fish fillet with tomato and olive sauce.
GELATO
The choice of gelato can be overwhelming, with 40 all-natural flavors to choose from.
I love their gelato because they only use natural ingredients and real fruit flavors. My favorites are Pistachio, Vanilla, and Nutella.
★ Gelato (Medio – 2 Scoops – P195)
Best to get two scoops so that you can mix and match flavors.
The kids would go for a solid Mango mixed with Yogurt flavor.
You can add sprinkles for free.
★ Belgian Waffle with Gelato (Medio – P295)
For the best experience, order their freshly baked crunchy Belgian waffle and top it some hazelnut and vanilla gelato!
For durian lovers, order their durian gelato, which is not on display. Tastes like smooth frozen durian!
Overall, we love the gelato, coffee Otto, freshly baked bread, the pasta (Beef Lasagna, Chicken Cannelloni) and the Italian main dishes (Meatballs with Pomodoro Sauce, 1/2 Roast Chicken with Potatoes).
I recommend the classic flavors of Pistachio and Vanilla Gelato, Belgian Waffle with Gelato, and their signature Durian Gelato.
Budget about P500/head for a meal.
The place is like a neighborhood coffee shop where you can hang out with friends over good food or as a dessert place to enjoy gelato.
