DISNEYLAND HONG KONG is celebrating its 10th year anniversary with the theme “Happily Ever After“!
A new Disney musical was launched entitled “Mickey and the Wondrous Book“, with Gian Magdangal and Raki Vega singing the 10th-anniversary theme song “Happily Ever After“. Watch the two sisters, Queen Elsa and Princess Anna in the “Frozen” Christmas tree lighting, plus experience Star Wars fever all around the park. 🙂

1). Mickey and the Wondrous Book Musical
Watch this as soon as you enter the park at Disney’s Storybook Theater.
It starts with Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Olaf discovering a wondrous book that brings its stories to life.
It’s a 28-minute musical featuring seven beloved Disney tales like “The Little Mermaid,” “Tangled,” and “Brave”.
The highlight of the show is Queen Elsa’s performance of “Let it Go” from the movie Frozen.
The show ends with the finale 10th-anniversary theme song, “Happily Ever After” by Filipino artists Gian Magdangal and Raki Vega!
2). “Frozen” Christmas Tree Lighting
Most people would reserve their space at least one hour before the show to get a good vantage point.
People enjoyed the elegant entrance of Queen Elsa as she walked along Main Street.
The lighting ceremony starts with two singers serenading the crowd with favorite songs from Frozen, with Princess Anna engaging the fans.
It ends with Queen Elsa magically lighting up the Christmas Tree and creating a magical snow fall and dancing snowflakes.
3). Star Wars Fever in Hong Kong Disneyland
Plan your meals around these Star Wars-themed, Instagrammable snacks around the park.
Darth Vader Burger and Darth Vader Tumbler at Starliner Diner, Tomorrowland, Disneyland Park.
The burger combo costs HK$99 and the tumbler costs HK68. Check out the menu prices at Starliner Diner.
Panna Cotta & Tumblers at Hollywood & Dine, Disneyland’s Hollywood Hotel.

4). “Disney in the Stars” Fireworks
Best to position yourself near the castle to fully appreciate the show.
Love the projection-mapping of the 49 beloved Disney characters into the walls of the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Watching the fireworks is the best way to end your magical visit to the Disneyland Park.
5). Character Dimsum at Crystal Lotus
Crystal Lotus at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel serves the best dimsum in the park.
You’ll love the unique character-themed dimsum.
Don’t miss to order the Star Wars Baked Puff and Pudding!
6). Breakfast with Disney Characters
I recommend the Enchanted Garden character dining breakfast.
Book your Character Dining Breakfast Buffet as early at 7.30am at Enchanted Garden Restaurant at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel.
You’ll meet your favorite Disney Characters including Mickey Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Goofy going around the tables.
Another option would be Chef Mickey’s Dimsum Breakfast Buffet at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel.
Mickey Mouse in his Chef outfit will personally greet you and pose for a photo op.
(Note: You have to be a checked-in guest at the Disneyland Hotels to book the character dining breakfast.)
7). Magical Stay at Disneyland Hotels
Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel with “Grand Victorian Elegance” theme (~HK$2,550/night)
You can request for a Frozen-themed Decoration with Frozen themed Door Frame Sticker, Window Stickers, and Bed Runner for an additional HK$600.

8). Masterchef Asia Location Shoot
For fans of MasterChef Asia…
…eat in the Royal Banquet Hall, which was the location of Episode 9 of Season 1.
Have lunch at the Crystal Lotus Restaurant located at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, where the contestants had the pressure test to replicate Rudolf Muller’s award-winning dishes:

9). Fairy Tale Forest
(Note: This opens on December 17)
The Fairy Tale Forest at Fantasyland recreates the miniature iconic scenes of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, “Cinderella”, “The Little Mermaid”, “Beauty and the Beast”, and “Tangled”.

Check out the Disneyland Hong Kong 10th year anniversary collectable merchandise.
Look out for this special 10th year anniversary section in the main souvenir shops.

We bought Baby Yugi these rubber ducky-like Star Wars characters…
…and we got Star Wars shirts for the rest of the boys.

P.S. Disneyland isn’t just for girls anymore but also for boys because of Star Wars. I heard that the Ironman ride will open next in Hong Kong Disneyland. We can’t wait to go back with the boys.
