Murder Manila from the brains behind Mystery Manila presents their take on the classic “Whodunnit?”.
Murder Manila is a role-playing game, where you must use your deductive skills and reasoning, to figure out who the killer is before time runs out. There are different scenarios for people to play through. We got to go back to school with the theme Revenge at the Reunion.
The mystery game was held at Holiday Inn Hotel Makati in one of their function rooms.
Revenge at the Reunion Plot:
Fifteen years after graduating from Mystery High School, you get an invitation to go to a reunion. It’s the perfect time to catch up with friends and relive the good ol’ days. However, a murderer walks among you, ready to strike at any moment.
The game has a few simple rules. First, really immerse yourself in your character.
Study the packet you are given beforehand to properly act and look the part.
The game lasts for two hours along with game pieces, props, and costumes. Awards will be given to the best in costume and the best actor.
Second, Play money is also supplied. Players can use this to buy and sell information from other players. Blackmail and bribery are not only permitted; they are encouraged. Be careful not to spend all your money, though, because a prize is awarded to the richest player after the mystery has been solved.
Lastly, keep on your toes and be selective to what you say and to whom.
Remember that the killer is one of your peers. Be careful of who you trust.
When you feel like you know who committed the murder, write their name down on the card given to you. The fastest solver gets a prize.
Murder Manila’s Revenge at the Reunion is one of many themes and scenarios available for play- with settings ranging from mansions to class reunion.
The venue can be chosen by the customer, though Murder Manila can also recommend a venue.

In the game, there are six people trying to escape from a killer named Enigma. You must use your wits to either get free first or outlast your friends. It’s like an amalgam of Cluedo and One Night Ultimate Werewolf that’s sure to keep everyone at the edge of their seats.
