1) The Stunning Décor & Art

There is no shortage of beauty when it comes to the decorative pieces of the interiors.

The Lobby Chandelier by Katarina Fulonova of Lasvit, one of the top chandelier producers from the Czech Republic.

Inspired by the solitaire of a brooch and the maker’s training in jewelry design, this shimmering piece is made from 1,500 hand-blown crystals tubes, 2,000 crystal chains, and 200 lights and circuits!

Anima (Latin for “Soul”) by Bea Valdes, a prominent accessories designer known for her beautiful beadwork.

The flowing tapestry with resin flowers took 40 women to sew it together in under 12 months—it represents what Jungian Psychology calls anima, which is “a part of the psyche that is directed inward, and is in touch with the subconscious.”

Growth by Raul Isidro, a master of contemporary Filipino art and abstraction.

Raul Isidro showcases his skillful use of the oil and acrylic medium at the age of 73.

Drift by Jinggoy Buensoceso who is known for his intricate metalwork.

The 6 panels made with skillfully bent metal of flowing narra, mango, and chestnut leaves, adorns the High Street Lounge at the hotel’s ground floor.

High Street Lounge Chandelier by Petra Kausova from Lasvit

This stunning piece, shaped into dome-like Ambergris, is made of 5,000 hand-blown, amber plates arranged in a gradient fashion.

The High Street Lounge is a sophisticated meeting place to dine and discuss in a peaceful, yet luxurious environment.

Release by Mars Burgaoan. This installation is part of a series called “Found”.

This curious installation that plays with the idea of space is made from plastic wrap construction and emphasizes the concept of impermanence.

Damask Panels (Shangri-La Grand Ballroom) by Bea Valdez. The hand-cut pieces took about a year to complete.

The fabric and metal Damask appliques are hand-woven and made to look like a woman’s lavish purse.

The Shangri-La Grand Ballroom is a magnificent event space measuring 1,800sqm—it can accommodate nearly 1,200 guests.

Grand Ballroom Chandeliers by Tana Dvorakova from Lasvit.

All the Grand Ballroom chandeliers are made of 600 meters worth of frosted, free-cut octagon beads that were meticulously hand-strung by artists.

Flowers by Antonio V.K. Garcia of Mabolo.

Mabolo is known for their elegant flower arrangements that thoughtfully complement the architecture and style of the surroundings.
