After 12 years since it last shipped on Oct. 12, 2004, Fat Fingers is finally back.
We were curious and excited to see if it has the same taste as the Fat Fingers we remember.
We received a box that contained what we thought was Whammo’s BUT the box gave a clue on what was inside.
I love how they designed the comeback introduction by using the Whammo’s packaging and surprised us with Fat Fingers pastry instead.
The first time we saw it, flashbacks of our childhood memories especially Rache — enjoying the soft fat fingers pastry with her siblings, their faces smudged with the sticky icings running, shrieking in a hot summer day.
Now, it’s time to share some of our childhood baon memories to our kids.
It is fluffy, soft with a sweet and sticky marshmallow icing in the middle. You can finish it in 2-3 bites that will make want some more.
We shared it amongst our A-Space millennial friends and they loved the texture of the dough and its marshmallow-like icing but find it too sweet.
It definitely satisfies your nostalgic cravings for Fat Fingers just like Whammo’s.
Fat Fingers now available at all 7/11 stores on Oct. 12, 2016. Price is P16/piece.
