We love Music Festivals in the Philippines and we have this fear of missing out on the historic first event. How I wish that we were able to go to the first Malasimbo event which people keep talking about until now.
Here’s a chance to be part of the first ever Lio Beach Festival in El Nido, Palawan this coming June 9-11, 2017.

Lio Beach Festival is a celebration of music and arts for the environment set in the paradise of El Nido. Located in one of the best islands in the world, the festival endeavors to be a flagship event in Palawan.
The event will be held on June 9 to 11, 2017 over the Independence Day long weekend.
On its first year, this exclusive event with limited passes aims to give guests a unique experience and a chance to explore the wonders of El Nido over the independence day long weekend.
About Lio Eco-Tourism Estate
Say hello to the future of Palawan. Surrounded by virgin beaches, breathtaking landscapes, and turquoise waters, Lio Eco-Tourism Estate is the crown jewel of El Nido in the making.
Located in an isolated area in my favorite island in Palawan, it’s hard to understand why this paradise hasn’t been featured as much as other travel destinations.

Disclosure: Our Awesome Planet is a media partner of Lio Beach Festival. I wrote this article with my biases, opinions, and insights.
P.S. Here are tips and guidelines before you go to the festival:
OMG, here we go again, “for the environment”. With so many people going to rave party like this? Seriously, what will they do for that will directly benefit the environment? Will they NOT use plastics here? Will they recycle their trash? Their tarps? Their beer bottles? Will they use solar panels for energy? Or just light candles? Will they use low impact/electric powered boats? Sorry can’t help but be really concerned about the environment here. #GreenEvents #SustainableFestivals #PartyLikeTheresTomorrow https://sstdi.org/programs/green-meetings-sustainable-festivals/
