I surprised the boys with a memorable water park hopping adventure in Subic this summer. Aqua Planet and Adventure Beach Waterpark opened this summer, and Inflatable Island is now bigger.
We also found the best place to stay in Subic with a nice infinity pool and suite rooms with international standards at Best Western Plus Subic.
Here is how to organize your own water park escapade:
First Things First
We found our favorite place to stay in Subic because of the roof deck infinity pool with a nice sunset vantage point.
We love that there is a separate pool area where you can hang out with the little ones.
We stayed at the 3-bedroom Suite Room #500 which is on the same floor as the pool on the fifth floor.
The master bedroom has its own personal Jacuzzi.
The other 2 rooms have a queen bed and its own toilet and bath like a standard hotel room where you tap the keycard to enter.
The suite room has a spacious kitchen and dining table where you can cook and feel at home in Subic.
The living room has a large TV to watch your favorite shows and to lazy around with the family.
It opens up to a terrace with a nice view of Subic area and where you can enjoy the sunset privately.
You can enjoy the pool early in the morning as early as 7 AM or even at night because it is literally just outside your room.
The Breakfast buffet at Spencer’s is decent with a nice bistro ambiance….
… featuring local breakfast favorites — omelet, pancakes and silogs.
I love the house-made bacon and their longganisa version.
This circular booth table was perfect for family brunch.
Make sure to book their suite room on the first floor specially Room #500 with a private terrace.

Inflatable Island (Olongapo)
The Inflatable Island claims to be the biggest floating playground in Asia with 3,400 sqm in size — imagine 8 basketball courts side by side.
Read More: INFLATABLE ISLAND: Get Ready to Get Wet at the Wildest Floating Playground this Summer!
It is located technically outside Subic Bay Freeport beside Samba Bluewater Resort in Olongapo.
It features inflatables slides, towers, bridges, human launchers, swings, and a unicorn-themed inflatable park.
Your kids should be 3 ft. or higher to enjoy the inflatable park.
We’ve been here last year without Yugi, but this year he is tall and old enough to enjoy it.
We took the 2-hour package which is more than enough to enjoy the entire waterpark.
Make sure to pre-order your lunch before you go so that you can enjoy the food right after the activity.
(The Food Hub Menu | The Bucket List )
Nachos con Karne (₱150).
This is a good appetizer while you wait for your food or waiting for your turn to get into the water park.
Freshly Brewed Calamansi Iced Tea (₱120)
We love this because it’s not too sweet, refreshing in this summer heat, and big enough to quench your thirst after.
Grilled Liempo (₱180) Juicy slide of pork belly grilled to perfection and glazed with house blend BBQ sauce.
A Pinoy beach picnic is not complete without grilled liempo!
BBQ (2 pcs. – ₱120) Take a bite of their savory marinated BBQ grilled to perfection.
skewered pork BBQ
Grilled Chicken (₱180) Flame grilled, juicy chicken glazed with house blend BBQ sauce
and grilled chicken with toyo-calamansi sawsawan.
Hotdog (₱120) Enjoy the tenderness and juiciness in every bite of their hotdogs.
These hotdogs are the best for kids.
We enjoyed it because it’s really challenging even for adults to go around the bouncy park with the risk of awkwardly falling down.
The boys had an easier time balancing and adapting to the inflatables. If it gets too hot, you can always jump into the water.
The grilled beach food here is surprisingly good and you can organize your own boodle fight.

Adventure Beach Waterpark (Subic Bay)
Adventure Beach Waterpark is a water-themed park located on Adventure Beach owned by the same group of Ocean Adventure and Camayan Beach Resort inside Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
It has 8 water attractions which you can complete in half a day.
The best time to go here is in the afternoon to catch the Subic sunset in the inflatable trampoline.
The main attraction is the 3-story high Twin Twister Slide with two twisting and turning giant slides.
In the middle is a giant family slide where you can catch the waterfall on your way to the pool.
Take an easy ride around the park by letting the current flow of the lazy river take you around the River Bend.
The kids can enjoy the straight, tube or spiral slides in the mini-playground in the wading pool.
You’ll enjoy this Splashing Seesaw with your little ones.
The kids’ favorite is this Rainbow falls in the Splash and Play area.
At the end of your exploration, you can relax at the Aqua Serein; relax in the salbabida and just cool down.

Aqua Planet (Clark)
Aqua Planet claims that it is one of the biggest water theme parks in Asia. Located in Clark, Pampanga, it’s the hottest water theme park destination this summer near Metro Manila.
Having been to the Adventure Cove Waterpark in Sentosa and LEGOLAND Waterpark in Malaysia, we decided to validate this claim with the boys.

Final Thoughts
You can do Inflatable Island and Adventure Beach Park on the same day. I would recommend having lunch at Inflatable Island after your scheduled time. Make sure to catch the sunset at Adventure Beach Park.
I would recommend the Best Western Subic Plus for their amazing roof deck infinity pool, suite room with Jacuzzi on the same level.
Visit Aqua Park the next day for the water park hopping finale!

P.S. The Subic branch of the best Chinese restaurant in the north — Fortune Seafood is conveniently located in the Best Western Plus Subic.
We love the Peking Duck 2-ways and the fresh seafood Cantonese specialties.
Make sure to book the private room if you are celebrating a special occasion.
