RAMEN NAGI: Opens First Concept Store with Truffle King Ramen!

Ramen Nagi Concept Store

Truffle fans rejoice! Ramen Nagi is bringing back their Truffle King Ramen that will only be available at the newly opened RAMEN NAGI CONCEPT STORE in BGC for a limited time (until December).

RAMEN NAGI is one of my favorite go-to ramen joints in Manila, known for their rich and bolder flavors where you can customize your ramen to your liking. Today, they recently launched the Ramen Nagi Concept store that offers the same classic menu but with a more modern and chic interior perfect for the working crowd of BGC.

Here’s what to expect at the first Ramen Nagi Concept Store…

The interiors are different from the usual red, with a more modern and clean design specifically catering to the Philippines Stock Exchange (PSE) crowd.

They offer the same classic menu as all the regular Ramen Nagi stores, except for the Truffle King that will only be available until December.

Original ChickenKaraage (P250)

For starters my favorite, we always order the original karaage. It’s a crunchy Japanese fried chicken paired with a mayo dip.

Gyoza (P220)

The gyoza is also good.

Truffle Ramen (Php 700)

The only thing you can customize is the hardness of the noodles, spiciness level and the addition of toppings like the tamago. I prefer mine extra hard with pork shoulders.

As soon as the truffle king arrived, you could smell heaven already.

When east-meets-west you get this luxuriously rich truffle ramen infused with truffle oil and slices of truffle in the same tonkotsu broth used in their Original King.

Imagine the kind of rich umami flavor you’ll get with this combo? It was a pleasure to taste this wonderful Truffle Ramen, with its rich garlicky golden broth, sprinkled generously with shaved slices of truffles.

This limited edition Ramen also came in with the fresh lettuce. Best eaten with a little spicy kick (lvl 2 spiciness for me). The Truffle King Ramen is truly the KING for me! A must try!

Make sure to take a quick snap, and eat it right away, as the ramen is best enjoyed when it’s hot!

Ramen Nagi Dessert

Nagi Vanilla Ice cream (P150)

For dessert, we ordered the Nagi Vanilla Ice cream served two mini pipettes filled with white rum and Bailey’s. Sprinkled on top were cracker bits to add some texture. It was just okay for me.

The Manila franchise is owned by Plains & Prints couple founders Roxanne and Erickson Farillas, together with Michael James Chua, Carissa Coscolluela, Enti Coscolluela, and Avi Siy-Chua.

Congratulations on the opening of the first Ramen Nagi Concept Store!
