Mimi and Bros is a resto-bar in BGC that serves comfort food that’s fit for a party. The menu is kept simple too, it’s just Chicken, Ribs, Chops, and Drinks.
Klook.comThey’ve mastered fried chicken so well, that they have a whole menu line-up of #EverythingFriedChicken. They’ve also reinvented one of their classic fried chicken dishes into something more exciting.
Here’s all the fried chicken goodness at Mimi and Bros:

At the helm of the kitchen’s R&D team is Chef Edward Bugia who’s always thinking of new ideas to bring to the table.
Mimi and Bros has a lineup of nine sauces to go with the chicken dishes. The names are as follows: Root Beer BBQ, Honey Mustard, Kimchi Mayo, Bastard BBQ, Cilantro Sour Cream, House Blend Hot Sauce, Spicy Sour Cream, Mango Jalapeño, and Hot Honey. My personal favorites are the Kimchi Mayo and Spicy Sour Cream. These come at no cost too, just ask for a bottle from your server.
Menu: Lunch Specials / Food / Beverages
Chicken Skin Nachos (₱ 195) • Chicken skin topped with cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, onions, and jalapeño
Love this! I’m a big chicken skin fan. I admit that it’s not the healthiest snack, but I used to buy two small packs of chicken skin as merienda when I was in high school.
The substantial pieces of chicken skin are the perfect vessel for all the nacho toppings.
Chicken Fingers with Molten Cheese Dip (₱ 290)
Classic finger food. Try mixing this with their Hot Honey sauce.
Fried Chicken Caesar Salad (₱ 425 for sharing) • Greens tossed in dressing topped with bacon, parmesan, and fried egg, served on a bed of fried chicken pieces
The addition of the chicken pieces turned this otherwise “healthy” dish into something more sinful. I’m sure you didn’t go to Mimi and Bros to look for healthy food though, right?
Dirty Bird Chicken Pizza (₱ 295) • Fried chicken cutlet topped with marinara sauce, pepperoni, and cheese
Love how generous the cheese is!
Mimi’s Fried Chicken Sandwich (₱ 285) • Fried chicken cutlet sandwiched with pickles and served with fries
Generous portion! Great with Honey Mustard.
Mimi’s Fried Chicken (Whole ₱ 685, Half ₱ 385, Quarter ₱ 255)
The skin is perfectly flaky and crispy; and the meat is tender, juicy, and melts in your mouth but it needs a little bit of kick in the flavor department. Their gravy helps with that; the Cilantro Sour Cream is also a good sauce option.
Cheesy Fried Chicken (Whole ₱ 725, Half ₱ 495, Quarter ₱ 295) • Mimi’s Classic Fried Chicken drizzled with Cheese Gravy
Cheese and chicken is a combo that doesn’t really sound appetizing to me but I was proven wrong. Their cheese sauce is stellar. It doesn’t clump up nor does it form a skin when exposed for quite some time.
The skin doesn’t get soggy either.
If you feel like you need more cheese, you can order extra for just ₱ 65.
Burnt Basque Cheesecake (₱ 295)
Lastly, dessert. No fried chicken in sight here. Their Burnt Basque Cheesecake is light and tart. The perfect contrast to all the heavy chicken we had.
FINAL THOUGHTS
All in all, I loved all the chicken offerings at Mimi and Bros. The prices are reasonable to given their serving sizes. I will be back for their Chicken Skin Nachos, the Cheesy Fried Chicken, and the Burnt Basque Cheesecake. Budget at ₱ 300/head.
