Food District Signatures: What to Expect @ BGC’s First Official Food Hall on the 5th

As featured in 10 Best Restaurants/Cafes of One Bonifacio High Street!

Food District Signatures, curated by the Foodee group, is your everyday BGC food hall located in the basement along the 5th. Instead of establishing a high-end food hall like The Grid or Hole-in-the-Wall, they created the cheapest yummy place to eat (under ₱300/meal) in BGC.

Here’s what to expect at the first official food hall in Bonifacio Global City…

First Things First

It’s hidden in the basement, and you have to take the elevator, beside Because Coffee, going down.

A Filipiniana inspired lobby welcomes you to the Food District.

The place is packed during the peak lunch and dinner times with long lines at the crowd favorites.

This is the best place to eat Indonesian food, by Lucy of Bakmi Nyonya, and where we get our favorite Indonesian noodle soup bowls.

Hawker Chan’s BGC Branch

Finally, the Michelin-starred Hawker Chan opens its BGC branch at the Food District Signatures.

A re-constructed avocado ice cream with pastillas seed.

We would usually reserve our dessert calories for Chatime Milk tea.

On other days, we would alternate with Macao Imperial Tea.

For a healthier alternative, end with a frozen yogurt dessert.

Final Thoughts

Overall, it’s a great addition to the BGC culinary scene, especially for days when you are on a budget but still want to enjoy good food. I would go here for our Bakmi Nyonya and Hawker Chan cravings in BGC.

You’ll also notice that people are willing to spend more to indulge in a dessert that they can show off while saving on their main meal. Budget about ₱300/head.

You can only exit via the One Bonifacio mall escalators.
