The Sphere Serviced Residences is a cool place to stay at the heart of Salcedo Village for your next family staycation in Makati. The rooms are bigger with a chic modern fit-out and a fully equipped kitchen to enjoy nice meals in the room.
Breakfast is served at the Little Four Cafe for an awesome morning start, and you can enjoy the cafe during lunch, dinner and dessert sessions. It’s a central place where you can have your business meetings around Makati, while your family enjoys the room and dining at Little Flour.

The Stratosphere lobby, sandwiched by Starbucks and Little Flour Cafe, also serves as the check-in counter of The Sphere.
2202 & 2203 Room
This is the master’s bedroom in the one-bedroom suite which connects to a studio room to make it a two-bedroom suite.
A view of Salcedo… You would feel like you were a resident of Makati for the duration of your stay.
This is the connected studio room with twin beds which became the boys’ room and game room during our stay.
The toilet was standardized across all rooms, and it was clean and well-maintained like in a hotel.
I love it when residences put attention to details like having their own signature sustainable toiletries—Mooi & Co.
The rooms are interconnected by a large living and dining area, and it was spacious enough even with the extra bed setup.
It has modern amenities which include fast free wifi, bluetooth speakers, alarm clock and a 43-inch smart TV.
Each room has a fully-equipped kitchen that include a glass top stove and microwave to prepare your meals and refrigerator to store your take-outs and desserts.
Loved the cookies, 42% milk chocolate, Nestle fresh milk and shiraz wine for our welcome treats.
There is an indoor pool and gym on the 9th where the boys had fun during our entire stay.
The location of The Sphere Manila is walking distance to the best food trip places in the Salcedo neighborhood.
Little Flour Cafe
This is one of the best cafes in Manila and is, in fact, better than its Wild Flour cousin because of its Filipino dishes and desserts.

Breakfast All Day, Lunch, Rice Bowls, Soup Salad Sandwich | Dessert, Coffee and Drinks
We spent our entire staycation eating breakfast, lunch and dinner at Little Cafe.
Here are our favorites:
Soup, Salad, Sandwich

The added arugula greens make this Caesar salad extra special and a good salad to start with.

You could really taste the strong distinct flavor of the clams in the hot chowder broth. Loved this!

The tomato flavor was really there. You’d enjoy the soup better with a bit of the sour cream and parmesan cheese.

The perfect grilled cheese lunch, soup and a bit of salad on the side if you are on the go and if you want to enjoy something light.
Rice Bowls

For breakfast, the best was the longsilog with two big chorizo patties, two eggs and Pan De Sal on the side.

This is their bestseller and an all-time favorite among their regulars. Loved the binagoongan with big chunks of bagnet and brown sauce.

The tapsilog was also good, with pork belly strips, two eggs and atchara. For sharing for 2 people.

For something different, order the shrimp in coconut sauce that paired well with the bagoong fried rice.

This one looked and tasted more like pinakbet with liempo.

The pork adobo was served as a slab of pork with adobo sauce.
Lunch

The boys’ all time favorite—with fried egg mixed into the creamy pasta to make the sauce thicker for a more satisfying feel.

We ordered a tomato-based pasta to balance out the creaminess of the carbonara, and this lasagna did not disappoint.

The boys love burgers minus the vegetables, and they like eating the burger with both hands while biting into it.

An open-faced multigrain sandwich topped with scrambled egg, salmon and drizzled with bearnaise sauce.
Desserts
At night, you can buy pastries at 50%. Make sure to reserve your desserts first when you order.

Creamy maja blanca, not too sweet with a generous topping of cheese.

The cassava served as a pie with a nice crunch, perfect with the sweet coconut jam.

Tasted like the rich leche flan you make at home with the sweet caramel sauce.

The chocolate cake was moist with a nice yema filling in the middle and topped with chocolate ganache.
The boys always look forward to the dessert and we would often order one of each and share them at the same time.

The traditional egg pie you see in Filipino bakeries, not too sweet and with a nice egg consistency.

A mini grilled ensaymada served with toasted melted cheese on top that you can pair with the homemade guava jam.

A Filipino version of the sansrival using langka fruit and kasuy for the nutty parts.

Best of all—the Little Flour buko pie with young coconut meat and crusty layer on top with sweet creamy sauce.
Farmacy
Farmacy Menu: Ice Cream, Shakes, Sundaes | Ice Cream Sandwich, Ice Cream Floats, Sorbet
The dessert never ends because they also have here their Farmacy-line of ice cream, shakes and sundaes.

The boys like simple vanilla bean or strawberry while we love hazelnut, salted caramel and avocado when available.

The ice cream sandwich was good, especially when the big cookies were homemade together with the ice cream.

For something more indulgent, order their over the top sundaes.
Little Flour x The Sphere Breakfast
Little Flour Cafe x The Sphere Breakfast Menu
The little flour cafe serves the breakfast meal of The Sphere Manila guests with their special breakfast menu.

You’d love the bacon steak slab, and sometimes you just couldn’t resist eating it with fried rice instead of just the pandesal.

Airy brioche toast soaked in Vermont maple syrup. Yum! Yum!

For something easy and healthy, a cheesy omelet with salad on the side.

The boys ordered the traditional champorado for breakfast.

This bacon & egg mini burger was quite cute, with the bacon strips extending outside the mini buns.
Final Thoughts
Overall, we felt like residents of Makati during our entire stay, heading to the very best of Salcedo on foot—from the weekend markets to the sought-after bars and restos in the area.
We’ve tried a lot of serviced residences staycations and The Sphere Manila has the most spacious rooms we’ve stayed in specially if you connect two adjacent rooms.
Best of all, breakfast is served at Little Flour Cafe. Just make sure to book the secret nook with the graffiti design on the wall.
Congratulations to Six Stratos and HII team for an awesome staycation experience at The Sphere Serviced Residences!
