Mama V Delicious founded by Tina Vitas is an online food delivery service specializing on Filipino home-cooked meals, comfort food classics with 60+ year old heritage recipes from Mama Vitas. 💛

They are best known for classic Filipino food that brings back nostalgia for Gen Xers (40+ above) and finding a new millennial audience (ages 25 to 34).

Mama V Restaurant has been serving home-cooked food in Malate (across DLSU) since the early 2000s as a passion project by Mama V who turned 80 years old this year.

First Things First

We first tried Mama V restaurant in 2007 during its infancy stages when Aidan was just 2 years and we already fell in love with their Lengua w Mushroom Sauce.

We tried their Ready To Eat (Party Trays) during our Independence Day celebration with the family at home.

Mama V Delicious Meals brand was born as an internet spin off by Mama V’s daughter Tina Vitas in the late 2018 to market the food to a wider audience outside Malate area and as an intentional distraction after the sudden passing of her brother.

The chicken skin was quite a hit with the boys dipped in their special vinegar sauce with onions and red siling labuyo.

Super creamy carbonara with generous bacon bits to cut through the creaminess and enjoy it bite after bite. Our boys always look forward to this and never fails to satisfy the little ones.

Our classic favorite from Mama V with tender beef tongue, lots of mushrooms and oily mushroom sauce perfect with hot white rice. Must order!

**Salmon Belly with Calamansi Butter Medium** (Small – ₱260, Medium – ₱420, Large – ₱700)

Strips of slightly crusted salmon belly with lots of garlic which my mom loved to eat.

A classic favorite, bouncy sotanghon glass noodles with lots of garlic and topped with mushrooms.

Salty Angus Beef Tapa that resembles strips of bacon with good layer of fat and best paired with their special vinegar sawsawan, rice and egg for breakfast.

Sometimes, a fiesta is not complete without a red pasta like their Pinoy Bolognese in sweet version. Another option is their savory version.

The bibingka cake was moist, soft and you can taste the flavor. Most of us loved the limited edition use version with ube halaya topped with cheese but we can also devour the salted egg with cheese in no time too!
