Housed in a 5,000-square-meter digital museum on the 4th floor of Ayala Malls Manila Bay, BARI is a visual and cultural experience best enjoyed in a hanbok or Korean-inspired outfit for picture-perfect moments. The journey spans 10 immersive exhibition areas and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing you to fully explore each interactive installation at a relaxed pace.

The experience begins with a digital bullet train simulating a 2,619km journey from Manila to Seoul, creating a cinematic entry into the world of BARI. The space is fully air-conditioned, though it can feel warm if you stay in a Korean costume throughout the entire experience.

The experience features mirrors, lighting effects, simulations, and projections in every hall, making each space highly photogenic. While it’s tempting to keep taking photos, take time to slow down, immerse yourself in the atmosphere, and appreciate the cultural storytelling behind the Korean-inspired journey.
Note: Bring a small light source to help illuminate faces in darker exhibition areas.

The Naksan Park fortress path is one of the exhibition’s highlights, allowing you to walk along a scenic fortress route as the environment transforms through all four seasons in a continuous immersive cycle.

You can feel the K-drama vibes as you simulate a family stroll, fully immersed in the surrounding projections.

The fall season feels the most romantic, evoking that classic “love on the wall” K-drama moment with just a bit of imagination.

This is the heart of the exhibition, where you step into a living story as Bari’s journey unfolds around you—across mountains, through restless seas, and into fields where life blooms anew. It culminates in her most luminous moment: a radiant procession with the Kkokdu, where light and sound dissolve the boundary between life and death.
Note: Don’t just sit and watch—stand in the center, move, and let yourself be fully immersed in the digital story.

This portal of lights features lasers dancing in sync with a dynamic soundtrack, inviting you into a playful ball pit where you can feel like a kid again. Get buried in a sea of balls and take a lighthearted break midway through the exhibition.

The next hall is a storytelling space where you walk through the exhibition while reading the story of Bari.

Spot the digital wall art and look out for angel wings and other Instagrammable corners scattered throughout this expansive hall.

There are only a few couches where you can sit, so we made the most of every chance to capture souvenir family photos.

The digital kaleidoscope mirror world is mesmerizing, drawing you in as you get fully immersed in its shifting reflections.

We did our first-ever family TikTok dance here, as everyone was in the mood to move and play with the electric atmosphere.

This is a quiet pause between exhibits—a small room surrounded by mirrors and large mirror balls, a simple yet striking interlude.

This is our favorite hall, filled with installation lamps and surrounded by mirrored walls and floors—perfect for a family portrait.

Also, prepare for your final portraits here—this is the last Instagrammable hall. Tip: sit on the floor for the best effect.

The final stage of the exhibition features interactive experiences, beginning with “Drive Your Dream Car,” where your design comes to life digitally. Use 2–3 distinct colors with creative patterns and avoid a monotone finish for a more vibrant result.

This interactive sand-based geography installation lets you reshape landscapes with your hands, making it especially engaging and addictive for kids to explore and play with.

Finally, experience “Color Sonata,” where you’re guided on which keys to play in sync with dynamic digital animations.
final thoughts

Overall, this feels like a fusion of digital museum, K-drama world, teamLab-style art, and immersive projection—almost like a family team-building experience where everyone gets to feel like a kid again inside Bari: The Abandoned Princess.
It’s easy to get caught up in taking photos at every corner, so it helps to pause and fully engage with the storytelling in each hall. Wearing a hanbok enhances the Korean atmosphere and makes the photo and video moments even more memorable.
Best enjoyed during off-peak hours like 3:00 PM for fewer crowds. Ideal for families with kids, couples who love Korean culture, or a romantic date—and even as a warm-up before an actual trip to Korea.
