Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang INK) and Philippine Board on Books for Young People mounted a touring exhibit of the 25 of the Best-Loved Pinoy Children’s Books Characters of all time. It is based on a survey among hundreds of Filipino school children. I’m ashamed that I only know 3 out of the 25 pinoy characters. We decided to buy all the children’s books in the ongoing Manila International Book Fair in SMX Convention Center. You can catch the exhibit in the lobby of SMX Convention Center.

This is great! I love reading those books for myself. Hehe. It’s also great that they created sculptures of the characters, so the kids will appreciate these books more. Go Filipino!:)

Hello po. Nakakatuwa namang makita yung mga pics. Kami po gumawa nung mga rubber foam characters na yan. And may correction lang po ako, ako kasi yung gumawa nung duwende rubber foam. Yung character pong iyon ay from “Ang Parusa ng Dwende” illustrated by Elbert Or.
Thank you po sa pagpost ng mga pictures!!!
SUPERB PICS…I was the one who made the foam character for Hukuman ni Sinukuan with the help
of the illustrator Ms. Mitzi Villavecer…I’m so proud of INK…
Thank you for this wonderful post. 🙂
Nakakatuwa pong makita ang inyong post. Sana po may paraan para maibahagi ito sa Facebook.
