Bong Velasco’s Three Sixty in A.Venue

360o Three Sixty is one of the best places for Chinese comfort food from Bong Velasco (the man responsible for the initial success of North Park and Bamboo Lounge in Boracay) and Michael Lim (the famous Chinese wedding host who has entertained 1,000+ weddings in his career).

Three Sixty is hidden on the second floor of A.Venue, near the escalators. It is a Chinese restaurant for lunch and one can immediately notice the similarity with North Park dishes. At night, it turns into a bar/ lounge with good food.

Don’t miss their signature desserts — Buchi Truffles and Buchi Ferrero Rocher!

360o Three Sixty Menu

Fried Rice, All Time Favorites, Stir Fry, Hot Pot, Chef’s Specialties, Desserts, Beverages
Tapa’s, Dimsum, Salads, Soup, Noodle Soup, Chow Mein, Lugaw/Congee, Sandwich, Rice Toppings

I love the high-ceiling, bloody red ambiance of Three Sixty. The restaurant is named after Bong Velasco’s “all-around” versatility in the restaurant’s operation and in the variety of dishes in the menu, which is not limited to Chinese.

The Chinese Connection — Ivan Man Dy of Old Manila Walks fame and The Michael Lim, the man who hosted 1,000+ weddings.

Mixed Greens with Davao’s Best Pomelo Salad (P190 +10%sc)

The greens were fresh and the pomelo salad had the right amount of sweetness.

Pork Siomai – 4 pcs. (P75 +10%sc)

Reminds me of the dimsum in North Park.

Fried Shrimp Dumplings – 6 pcs. (P240 +10%sc)

Order their Shrimp Dumpling either steamed or fried. I like the firmness and taste of the shrimp used.

Chorizo El Rey (P180 +10%sc)

A popular bar chow as an appetizer or pulutan when drinking beer.

Stir Fry Beef Hofan (P195 +10%sc)

Another dish that evokes images of the same hofan noodles I used to enjoy in North Park.

Steamed Lapu-Lapu Fillet with Superior Sauce, Garlic Bits and Shallots (P280 +10%sc)

The Lapu-Lapu is fresh with just the right amount of sauce. I like the generous garnish of garlic bits and shallots.

Lotus Fried Rice (P198 +10%sc)

A big Machang, good to share with 3-4 people.

360 Lechon Macau (P180 +10%sc)

The lechon macau rice toppings is one of the popular dishes in 360.

Adobo Flakes (P180 +10%sc)

A bit ordinary and it was ignored compared to the other yummy dishes.

Bong Velasco’s Original Stir Fry Broccoli Flower, Soft Tofu and Mushroom Topped with Garlic Bits (P220 +10%sc)

Ivan Man Dy loved the tofu and broccoli. This is the only dish that passed his discriminating Binondo-trained taste.

We were planning the Ultimate San Isidro Festival and Pahiyas Tour with Helen and friends.

Buchi Truffles (P150+10%sc for 3pcs).

This is one of the best Chinese desserts I have ever tasted. The Chocolate Truffles inside the buchi oozes out after your first bite. I wanted to eat the entire buchi but the chocolate is so rich that you want to savor each bite.

Buchi Ferrero Rocher (P150+10%sc for 3pcs).

I first heard about Buchi Rocher from a foodie legend that this dessert was served by the chefs in the Chinese restaurant in Heritage — but only during special occasions. I heard that the Chinese restaurant closed already, so you can only get this Buchi Rocher in 360.

If you are in A.Venue and looking for a dessert after lunch in Fluke or Foccacia, check out these buchi with Ferrero Rocher inside. Yummy!!!
