Cubao eXpo: The Next Evolution Series

Halo Cafe

Drinking Chocnut Coffee @ Green Halo Cafe… (Halo Cafe Menu 1 | 2 | 3 | 4)

Halo is famous for its organic and healthy menu, but it is also infamous for its waiting time of 30 minutes for one’s order. It is not that popular among the Cubao eXpo crowd, except for its Chocnut Coffee (P55).

You can find the latest copies of Juxtapoz Magazine from the US or Giant Robot Magazine from Japan in Sputnik…

…or read the original adventures of a very interesting character, who has a cult following in the comic circle.

Cubao eXpo has a canteen that most people patronize, whether just to buy simple drinks, simple food or snacks.

Breathing Space is a store for gift options, novelties and collections like snow globes and other figurines. However, the most coveted piece in the store is one of the original pictures of Tetchie Agbayani for Playboy.

We have always been fans of the I Love You store even when it was still located in Makati. I’m glad that they found their final home in Cubao eXpo. It is a place where you can spot surprising and unique finds.

The ground floor turns into a bar at night. At times, it becomes the center of the night life in Cubao eXpo.

Heritage owns an enviable spot at the prime corner area of Cubao eXpo. They have a lot of old paintings, books and different art pieces. Don’t expect a lot because most of the best pieces can be found in the Main Store on 4th Avenue corner Main Avenue.

They also have  an interesting display of vinyl single records and other long-playing records.

Cubao Expo is owned by the Aquino Family. In fact, Bujim Aquino (the manager of Cubao eXpo) is the nephew of the late Senator Benigno Aquino and President Cory Aquino. There is a long line of people applying to have a spot in Cubao eXpo.

  5. Good Day!!!
Do you by any chance know the contact details of the cubao expo management?
We would like to open a shop there …. if there are available space to rent.
    Thank you so much!

  6. Halo Café is awesome! Masarap ng kanin duun!! I went there yesterday. It was delicious. It reminded me of the food in France!

  7. I love Cubao X! I lose track of time whenever I find myself there. Geo Shop is one of my faves for their organic stuff (all locally sourced). Perfect example that choosing to live natural and healthy need not be expensive. I dig the artsy, vintage and quirky feel of the place 🙂
