It’s also considered a Foodie Haven where one can experience Spiral, the Best Buffet in Manila, and explore authentic French cuisine and wine. It also has  Le Spa, which is one of the best couples spas in Manila today.

We got invited by Sofitel to check out the Ultimate Foodie Staycation experience in Manila …

SATURDAY (Day 1)

SOFITEL-137.jpg
We checked in at 3pm on a Saturday, which is the earliest check-in time for Sofitel.

Kids are not allowed in the main lounge area.

SOFITEL-18.jpg
Instead, there’s a special room for kids below 9 years old.

We like the barbecue…

…Croquettes…

SOFITEL-31.jpg
…Parmessan cheese, fruits, nuts…

SOFITEL-32.jpg
…and Truffled Honey, which is not even available in the SPIRAL buffet.

SOFITEL-29.jpg
What better way to start your staycation than an intimate cocktail with the one you love? 🙂

SOFITEL CLUB ROOM

SOFITEL-14.jpg
As a policy, for their Superior, Luxury, and Suite rooms, they only allow a maximum of two (2) adults and two (2) children. You’ll need an extra adjacent room as an extension.

Sofitel-143.jpg
Make sure to get the room with the view of the pool and the Manila Sunset. 🙂

LE BAR ROMANTIC DINNER

After checking in, and having cocktails at Club Millésime, we decided to have dinner at LE BAR.

SOFITEL-117.jpg

LE BAR is the lobby bar of Sofitel Hotel which is a bistro, music lounge, and Galette – patisserie and chocolaterie in one. It’s the best place to eat in Sofitel as an alternative to Spiral where you can enjoy food and pair it with the extensive list of French and European wines.

SUNDAY (Day 2)

LE SPA COUPLES MASSAGE

Early in the morning, we sneaked out and left the boys in the room to have a massage at LE SPA.

LE SPA-19.jpg
LE SPA is our favorite spa for the most luxurious couples massage in Manila. We enjoyed our LE SPA “Duo” Couples Romantic Ritual in the Harmonie room last time.

For a limited time, Le Spa at Sofitel introduces a unique “Vinotherapy”, using the latest in wine cosmetics from Les Sources de Caudalie with traditional massage treatments. They also use organic beauty products from Thémaé, harnessing the power of tea for beauty rejuvenation.

SPIRAL SUNDAY BRUNCH

You have an option to have breakfast, but decided to skip it so as not to ruin our appetites for the much-anticipated Spiral Sunday Brunch!

Sofitel Spiral Buffet-25.jpg
SPIRAL is the gold standard for the most extensive and interactive gourmet dining buffet in Manila. A year after it was launched, it continues to be hailed by foodies as Manila’s BEST buffet.

Sofitel-141.jpg
Make sure to arrange for a late checkout at 4pm, because the Spiral Brunch finishes around 3pm. There’s no extra charge for Club Millésime guests (depending on room availability).

I must say, this was one of our most memorable foodie staycations in Manila! 🙂
