And 35 Thomson Reuters volunteers from Manila are here conducting Financial Management, Sports, Health & Wellness, and Storytelling Workshops for the residents of Brgy. Fatima, New Washington, Aklan. BOHOL. “The family and the Bukidnon team choose Bohol. A different awesome experience and adventure for the family because this year our kids are volunteers itself especially our Erwan, the youngest volunteer of the team. Kasama ang mga kabataan ng Carmen, mga taga-LGU, local volunteers, team LBC, foreign volunteers, BJMP, PNP at iba pa, pumunta at inumpisahan ang bayanihan sa pagtatayo mg mga temporary shelters para sa mga naapektuhan ng 7.2 na lindol na yumanig sa probinsya ng Bohol noong nakaraang taon.

Always one of our top favorite hope stories: Gawad Kalinga residents (beneficiaries) in Camarines Sur join our team and soon-to-be residents in Hernani, Eastern Samar to build homes for the families affected by Typhoon Yolanda! Paying it forward and bayanihan at its finest!
ILOILO. Julian, a German volunteer, joins Bayani Challenge in Carles, Iloilo and donates funds for children’s vitamins, mingo and water for feeding which will benefit 2,000 children on May 23 and 24. Municipality of Carles has the highest rate of malnourishment in the province of Iloilo. Thank you, Julian!

ZAMBOANGA. “Dati na po akong nag volunteer sa GK noong nasa kolehiyo pa ako sa Bicol. Nakakatuwang malaman na dito sa Zamboanga ay mayroon ding mga tulad nito. Nagpapasalamat ako na nakasama ako sa Bayani Challenge. Kahit papaano nakaka wala ng stress sa trabaho.
