Conveniently located in the heart of Metro Manila in Pasay City, Philippines.
The MOA area is a very popular choice for staycationers due to its accessibility and close proximity to major events, malls, and the airport.
Tip: you can rent a bamboo bike at the lobby to get around faster.
The TRYP by Wyndham hotel in the Mall of Asia is one of those up and coming trendy hotels that are aimed at both business travelers and the younger generation.
With that in mind, the TRYP by Wyndham hotel is perfectly designed to cater to both families and work-related trips.
The location itself encourages its guests to go out, explore and enjoy the city both by day and by night.
But TRYP hotel also offers several amenities that would keep guests entertained during their stay.
Like this rooftop pool deck and bar.
That offers a stunning view of the city and the bay area.
Perfect if you want to chill by the sea and watch the sunset.
There is also a small gym on the same floor with an overlooking view of the city.
Aside from fun and fitness amenities, TRYP also offers several work oriented meeting rooms.
and work desks that scattered all over the main hotel floor.
Plus, another bar on the main floor that serves your favorite drinks and bar food.
They have a wide range of alcoholic drinks and single serve dishes but what I really liked was their fresh gambas.
Come breakfast time, TRYP offers daily breakfast buffet with their tapas menu.
Tip: Best to get breakfast as early as you can to secure a good table by the sea.
There is also an outdoor dining table if you want to enjoy the fresh cool breeze.
They serve ala carte menu in their Milagros restaurant for lunch and dinner.
For lunch, be sure to order their best seller American burger with real grilled patties if you’re feeling hungry!
You can then top it off with their black forest dessert with just the right amount of sweetness.
As for the rooms, TRYP offers a variety of guest room types, like my favorite, the Family Loft Room with bunk beds for young families with children.
Kids will surely love having their own floor with ladder access to the main bedroom downstairs.
The loft room can comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests safely, perfect for a small family with kids.
Spacious bathrooms and exit doors are located on both floors, so you don’t have to worry about taking turns in using the toilet.
I really love the open roof design of the loft; it gives the room a bright and spacious feeling.
I also like that there are lounge sofas by the window on every floor, which is quite possibly the best place to chill or work whenever you’re inside the room.
For honeymooners or couples, you can try their most premium room, the Sunset Suite.
Complete with its own living and dining tables, this place is like a mini house.
And of course a full undisputed view of the majestic Manila Bay sunset right in front of your king size bed.
Overall, I love the overall youthful vibe of the place; the pool was a little bit small, but I still enjoyed our short but sweet stay in TRYP by Wyndham.
More specifically, I really liked how the hotel is conveniently located right beside SM MOA and all the other restaurants in the area.
I also like how the hotel is situated in the quiet corner of the bayside area but is still within reach of most of the establishments.
The modern interior and minimalist design also give it that homey feeling that I always look for in a hotel. I was also very impressed with everyone’s service with a smile attitude that I experienced during our stay.
Not to mention that our rooms offered a breathtaking 360 sunset view of the manila bay.
Tip: You can take a free hotel shuttle bound for SM MOA that leaves the hotel lobby every hour (or you can walk for 5-10mins to reach SM MOA)
