Phoenix Court is the undisputed fine Chinese Restaurant that’s the best in Alabang, with a 250 seating capacity featuring signature Cantonese food. First Things First Phoenix Court is located on the 2nd level, Tower Wing of The Bellevue Manila and is quite popular for Chinese celebrations in the Alabang area. Phoenix Court Experience A special soup with a hearty broth and a slice of abalone and meat. A classic hot prawn salad with just the right sweetness and fruits. How we like our siomai, with meat bursting out of the thin wrapper. Hakaw-monsters approved, with good flavor and meat-to-skin ratio. For something different, order the steamed scallop for a cleaner taste.
This is the kind of Chinatown Sweet and Sour Pork the kids are looking for. It was perfect with salted fried rice but for adults… …Go for the healthier fried rice using Adlai barley-type rice. 🙂 A Chinese celebration is not complete without the Peking duck as highlight. We ordered a half-duck, and it was sliced table-side. Each thin Chinese pancake had a slice of duck meat, crispy skin, green onion leeks and hoisin sauce inside. For a special vegetable dish, go for this broccoli dish topped with egg whites. Steamed fresh fish with tausi is always a favorite because it is a healthier choice, has cleaner taste and not too filling. The service team can help you debone the fish to make it easier for you to enjoy its meat. Loved the crunchy textures of the mushroom with the fried bean curd and its brown sauce. 2 ways chicken in stuffed pancake style and sweet kung pao flavors to add a unique taste to the lauriat. To complete the celebration, you have to eat noodles for long life for the celebrant.
Dessert Mango Sago is always popular, but this time, it was topped with cereals for a nice crunch. Buchi-monster approved, and everyone fought over the last pieces. You can also have the mango sago with almond bean curd for a refreshing flavor.
Final Thoughts Definitely, this is still the best Chinese Restaurant in Alabang for its dim sum and special Cantonese dishes. 🙂 I loved the spacious distance from one table to the next and the high ceiling makes dining more pleasant. Go during lunch so you can satisfy your dim sum craving to start with and still experience their unique take on Chinese dishes for your lauriat celebration. Budget about Php 1,200/head.
