The Bellevue Manila is the first luxury 5-star hotel in Alabang (circa 2003), providing the best Alabang staycation experience in the urban south!

We recently experienced The Bellevue Manila staycation just before the decade ended, and here are some tips for your next family staycation in Alabang.

First Things First

The Bellevue Manila is a 5-star luxury hotel for business and leisure located conveniently off the Skyway Alabang exit.

For the best staycation experience, book the Bellevue Signature Rooms for hassle-free check-in/check-out and access to the Signature lounge.

Tower Premier Suite (1821)

We stayed in a 64sqm 2-bedroom suite with a living room between the connected rooms.

It had a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, separate shower area and multiple access points.

There was also a kitchenette area and small dining table for those times you have to do in-room dining for the kids while the parents go out and party.

The living room area was quite spacious, and it was not a problem at all to have 4 makukulit boys playing around the area.

The king bed was big enough for the 4 brothers to sleep together in a loving embrace.

Bellevue Signature Club

The Signature Club was our favorite place because of its awesome view of Muntinlupa and Laguna Lake.

We felt at home in the urban south where people were friendlier and more hospitable than those in the Makati/BGC area.

The Signature Club was the best place to eat Continental Breakfast from 6.00am to 10.00am with an inspiring view…

…A curated buffet and breakfast favorites cooked upon order.

The boys love cereals in the morning, and here they could make their own healthier concoctions with the aid of ingredient cards.

The boys made sure they didn’t miss the pre-dinner drinks and hors d’oeuvers from 6pm to 8pm.

The selection was quite good, with a bit of pasta, meat, appetizers and desserts that could be your light dinner already and you could just have supper after.

Best of all, the boys went back for the all-day tea, coffee, juice, soda and beer service! Haha 🙂

Swimming Pool

The pool is situated on the 3rd level roof deck with a kids and lap pool section, carpeted grass and an outdoor bar area.

There was plenty of space to do harutan with the boys, either water wrestling, dolphin swimming or just hanging out as teenagers do.

Vue Bar

Vue Bar Menu: Pub Grub Ala Carte Menu | Burgers and Sliders, Pasta Pleasure | Soup-ERB, Partaking PlatesThin Crust Pizza, Dessert

We cherish the times when we could escape from the kids and have a dinner date party on the 22nd floor with a 36 degree view of Alabang.

I love bars with San Miguel draft beer, which is more refreshing than the bottled or canned ones and pairs better with food, too.

Meaty Cheesy Nachos
Meaty Cheesy Nachos (₱785). Nachos topped with cheese, ground meat and beans.

The nacho serving was good for sharing, with the condiments on the side so you could top the nachos to your liking.

Wonton Soup
Wonton Soup (₱240). Served with dumplings and bok choy in Chinese supreme stock.

This soup was surprisingly good, with a clean broth and tasty dumpling portion, just perfect to start the night.

Traditional Caesar Salad
Traditional Caesar Salad (₱484). Crispy romaine lettuce tossed in Caesar dressing with parmesan shavings, grilled chicken, bacon bits and croutons.

Sometimes, you just want a traditional Caesar to eat something healthy, comforting and light before you end the night.

Beef Paprika
Beef Salpicao (₱700). Sauteed beef in paprika, soy sauce, garlic and freshly cracked pepper, served with bread.

The salpicao was served with big chunks of beef with beef soy sauce and a bit of spice and came with bread rolls.

The live performance was generationally appropriate for us to enjoy lounging around or dancing the night away with the special someone.

The Cellar 22 area beside Vue Bar was a bit quiet when we visited. You can play a game of billiards here.

Final Thoughts

Overall, we enjoyed the spacious suite rooms; the view and the food at the Signature Club, the Chinese food at Phoenix Court, the Japanese food at Homare; and the night at Vue bar. The people are quite friendly and you get their signature Alabang hospitality.

Although you can eat breakfast at Cafe d’ Asie for variety, it’s still better to eat at the Signature Club. The basement parking is a bit confusing at first, but at least there are plenty of slots so you don’t have to worry.

Congratulations to The Bellevue Manila team for a job well done in consistently providing good food and service in Alabang since 2003! Galing!
