Rising out of the pandemic era in Manila, Gallery MiraNila is a beautiful intimate events venue located in the MiraNila Art Deco Heritage House in Quezon City. It has a high ceiling hall integrated with nature and a garden for the perfect al fresco outdoor event.
This is the kind of venue I would love to go to, one that ensures social distancing, provides enough airflow and follows all the required safety protocols. The food is awesome, catered by Bizu. Make sure to take an inspiring tour of the heritage house.

MiraNila Heritage House

Inspired by Art Deco architecture and Florentine design ideas, MiraNila—owned by the Tirona-Benitez family—was declared a “heritage house” by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines on the 7th of April 2011.
This is one of the most beautiful heritage houses I’ve been to in Manila, with most of the original furniture and artifacts intact, including awesome portraits and paintings, all in a well-designed heritage estate to balance commercial viability + sustainability.
You can book a tour of the house, and here are the highlights:

The signature look of the hall with glass doors and windows integrated with the environment. It survived the back-to-back typhoons that hit Manila.

The modern Spanish Hall, with an area of 315 sqm, can accommodate up to 200 guests (and a maximum of 60 during the quarantine).

It’s designed with pandemic safety protocols in mind—high ceiling, socially distant seating arrangement and facilities that are cleaned frequently.

The al fresco view of the sprawling garden in the common lounge area.

The garden covered by ancient trees with a chapel as the centerpiece.

The food is exclusively catered by BIZU Catering Studio, recognized as the Best Caterer in Manila during the Big Banquet (Battle of the Caterers) two years in a row.

Final Thoughts

I love how they are able to integrate the Spanish Hall at the back of the heritage house, complementing the beauty of the heritage house without altering the natural elements. You can have your perfect intimate wedding event here, with styling and yummy food by Bizu Catering Studio.
I also love how MiraNila Heritage Estate balances commercialization, preservation of the heritage and sustainability even post-pandemic. Most heritage houses in Manila are converted into venues, removing the antique elements inside that made it a heritage destination in the first place with commercialization accelerating the wear and tear of the property.

Congratulations to MiraNila, The Blue Leaf and Bizu Catering Studio for one of the best concepts in the post-covid world in Manila! Galing guys! 🙂
