As part of our mission to promote the food industry and home-based entrepreneurs in Manila, we are organizing the Ultimate Taste Test 2020 Masters Edition on December 15, 2020, Tuesday at Gallery MiraNila by The Blue Leaf!

About the Ultimate Taste Test Legacy

For the past 12 years, Our Awesome Planet’s “Ultimate Taste Test” has been the incubator and launching platform for many of today’s most popular and influential food entrepreneurs. All of them started out as home businesses, and thanks to the publicity and exposure from their participation in the UTT, they have become very successful brands.

Among the Ultimate Taste Test babies are Pepita’s Kitchen, from the Lechon Diva, Dedet de la Fuente; Carmen’s Best, the Best Ice Cream in Manila; the internationally renowned Risa Chocolates by Pamela Cinco; and Bhest Lasagna, rated #1 Best Beef Lasagna in Manila.

This is the 2nd UTT Masters Event (with the first one last 2018) and the 12th consecutive year of Ultimate Taste Test Events!

What’s new at the Ultimate Taste Test 2020 Masters Edition?

1). #UTT2020 will be a private event with 100 invited chefs, restaurant owners, food writers, influencers, media, and food entrepreneurs to rate, provide feedback, and support the budding food business start-ups forged by fire due to this pandemic.

(There’s no ticket selling, and all taste test guests are by-invite-only)

2). It will be held in the beautiful Gallery MiraNila by The Blue Leaf Mira Nila Heritage Estate with a high-ceiling Spanish hall, an al-fresco garden area and a capacity of 50 guests per time slot divided into 11:00am – 2:00pm and 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

This venue is designed with all the safety and sanitation protocols for your every intimate, safe, and awesome event certified by The Blue Leaf events group.

3). Call for Food Entrepreneurs to join the Ultimate Taste Test 2020!

We encourage the awesome food entrepreneurs specially who those who started during the lockdown to participate in this unique taste test event!

What Food Entrepreneurs Can Expect?
✔️ 1. No Registration Fee for Home-Based Food Vendors or Startup Food Entrepreneurs–but you need to provide small packaged portions of your latest products (enough for 100 food judges).

✔️ 2. Minimal Setup Fee (up to ₱1,000) for the venue logistics, utilities, and safety protocols and clean-up fee.

✔️ 3. Our Awesome Planet Feature. If your product is really good, it would go viral and spread throughout the foodie and food blogging community. The top food entrepreneurs who meet the average rating of 3.8 and above will be featured in Our Awesome Planet right after the event and in 2021 onwards.
