About the Ultimate Taste Test Legacy
For the past 13 years, Our Awesome Planet’s “Ultimate Taste Test” has been the incubator and launching platform for many of today’s most popular and influential food entrepreneurs. All of them started out as home businesses, and thanks to the publicity and exposure from their participation in the UTT, they have become very successful brands.
Among the Ultimate Taste Test babies are Pepita’s Kitchen, from the Lechon Diva, Dedet de la Fuente; Carmen’s Best, the Best Ice Cream in Manila; the internationally renowned Risa Chocolates by Pamela Cinco; and Bhest Lasagna, rated #1 Best Beef Lasagna in Manila.
This is the 3rd UTT Masters Event (first one last 2018, 2nd one last 2020) and the 13th consecutive year of Ultimate Taste Test Events!
What’s New at Ultimate Taste Test 2021?
1). Fully Vaxxed by-Invite-Only Taste Event.
#UTT2021 will be a private event with 200 invited chefs, food bloggers, media , food entrepreneurs, and VIP guests to rate, provide feedback, and support the budding food entrepreneurs forge by fire due to this pandemic.
(There’s no ticket selling, and all taste test guests should be fully vaxxed and by invite only)
2). Awesome Al-fresco Heritage Venue.
It will be held in the beautiful Gallery MiraNila by The Blue Leaf at Mira Nila Heritage Estate with a high-ceiling Spanish hall, an al-fresco garden area and a capacity of 100 pax per time slot divided into 11:00am – 3:00pm and 4:00pm to 7:00pm. This venue is designed with all the safety protocol considerations for your next intimate, safe and awesome event.

3). Awesome Food Entrepreneurs!
The taste event will feature the awesome food entrepreneurs who thrived during the pandemic lockdown with their new products and new creations!

What Food Entrepreneurs Can Expect?
✅ 1. No Registration Fee for Home-Based Food Vendors or Startup Food Entrepreneurs–but you need to provide small packaged portions of your latest products (enough for 200 food judges).
All Food Entrepreneurs are welcome to join provided that their products have not been introduced in UTT.
✅ 2. Minimal Setup Fee (₱1,500) for the venue logistics, utilities, and safety protocols and clean-up fee. High wattage appliances (more than 1000 watts) will have additional charge such as microwave oven, airfryer.
✅ 3. Our Awesome Planet Awesome! Certified Feature!
If your product is really good, it would go viral and spread throughout the foodie and food blogging community. The top food entrepreneurs who meet the average rating of 3.8 and above will be featured in Our Awesome Planet right after the event and in 2022 onwards.

Final Thoughts
For our economy to recover heading into 2022, we need to fully support and promote each other specially the food industry in Manila.
