One of the best restaurants in the Resorts World Manila area is a Cantonese Restaurant called Passion. It serves one of the best value buffets in the Metro — an eat-all-you-can Dimsum lunch only for P750/person.
Here’s what you can expect in the Passion’s Dimsum Lunch…
Manila Marriott Hotel Vacation Series:
- MANILA MARRIOTT HOTEL Family Vacation
- PASSION’s All-You-Can-Eat Dimsum Buffet
- MARRIOTT CAFE Sunday Brunch Buffet Crossover with Cru Steakhouse!
Passion is located on the second floor of Resorts World Manila (above Maxim’s Cafe).
Every lunch time, you can try their no- sharing, no- leftovers eat-all-you-can Dimsum Buffet.
You are given a menu where you can check what food you want to order. All of the dimsum and main dishes are cooked only upon order to serve it hot and fresh from the oven.
For those who cannot wait, there is a small buffet section with dimsum, rice, congee, and pancit that you can partake with while waiting for your order.
Although the dimsum here are not as good anymore as the one that you have ordered.
They serve chili and lemon sauce. You can also ask for the hot tea included in the buffet.
I. DIMSUM
Steamed “Sio Mai” Pork Dumplings with Shrimps
The siomai was good and comes in just the right size.
Steamed Spare Ribs with Black Sauce
My wife did not like this because she was looking for that distinctive taste similar to Le Ching’s Spare Ribs.
I like the sweetness of the barbecue pork inside, but this was a bit filling if you overeat on the buns.
★ Fresh Shrimp with Crispy Net Spring Roll
I like the crunchiness of the net-like crust, it’s not too oily and the shrimp inside was really good too. This is something unique to order in Passions Dimsum Buffet.
★ Steamed Giant Dumplings with Shrimps
The boys love hakaw and Passion’s version is served with the big white shrimps that looks plump and fun to eat but bland in taste (than the smaller shrimp versions).
This was OK, nothing special.
Steamed Chicken Feet in “Special” Sauce
My wife’s favorite — she always orders this when we go on a yum cha food trip.
II. SAUTEED & CONGEE, NOODLE & RICE
You can help yourself anytime with the Special Congee, Noodle and Fried Rice of the Day.
★ Steamed Fish Fillet with Garlic Sauce
This is a good healthy choice and you can order as many as you want 🙂
★ Wok fried shrimp with Black Bean Sauce
It uses the same big white shrimps like the one used in the hakaw but the black bean sauce has compensated for the taste. This is best with the fried rice 🙂
★ Stir Fried Chicken Cutlets in “Kung Pao” Style
This is also good when served hot, and it’s not too chili hot that the boys can eat it.
III. DESSERT
Deep Fried Stuffed Sesame Balls with Lotus Paste
The size of the sesame balls are okay but the lotus paste inside the balls seems negligible to our taste.
★ Sweetened Taro Puree with Tapioca
This is similar to Mango Sago but uses a sweet ube instead — this was the winning dessert for us and we kept on ordering this 🙂
Overall, It’s a best value buffet and you can taste the compromise in the use of some ingredients but I like the main dishes option more than the dimsum choices. I appreciate the limited buffet option for those who can’t wait.
Better to go at 11.00am, and order what you want from the menu, the quantity and the sequence on how you want it to be served 🙂

As a policy, I don’t accept advertising from food and travel places we feature in the blog. We paid for our meals.
P.S. We did not order all the items in the menu, did we miss anything that we should have ordered? I heard the Peking Duck is good here in Passion.
Xin Tian Di’s dimsum buffet is also good 🙂
Sulit especially when you get vouchers from Deal Grocer.
“This is also good when served hot, and it’s not too chili that the boys can eat it.”
“It had a big ball but very little lotus paste inside.”

Hi, Anton how are you? You make me hungry always! Anyway, they are nice dimsum dishes. Parang nasa Hongkong tayo niyan. Siguro, hindi na natin kailangang pumunta ng Hongkong, China, or Taiwan. I love dimsum here also in San Francisco.
Well, this is very expensive for the variety of dishes I’ve seen featured here.
