Eastern Star Hotel is located inside this building.
The nearest landmark is the Mingyao Shopping Building, which is directly across.
Don’t expect a hotel lobby or concierge since the ground floor is a common entrance to the building.
Eastern Star is located on the 11th floor. If you see this floor directory, you are in the right building. 🙂
The elevators are old and there’s a mix of building tenants, including a club on the 3rd floor.
The lobby of Eastern Star Hotel. It looks like a simple office lobby.
Present your passport and booking reservations. They’re very popular among the Filipino community and you can get better deals when you book directly with them.
The room is simple, with a big bed in the middle and a narrow aisle.
We had to get an extra bed for the boys.
The restroom is a bit small but it has a bathtub.
One good thing is they give you these complimentary drinks, which they replenish every time. 🙂
BREAKFAST (6th Floor)
Breakfast is located on the 6th floor.
It’s not very exciting so I recommend just eating outside.
It’s a home-style buffet. It no longer looks nice if you arrive for breakfast later.
Service is simple so it’s best to have no expecations.
They can get you a cab that can bring to your airport, which is nice.
Overall, a clean place to rest and sleep, especially if you’re out the whole day anyway.

The English Sunday Mass is at 10.30am.
The sermons are good, given in the Salesian tradition. And the church is homey and colorful.
