Living in Your Own Condo in BGC

We stayed in a 2 bedroom Shangrila Residence suites room 1310.

The master bedroom is quite spacious and comfortable to sleep in.

Love the walk-in closet where you can unpack all your things and make it feel like home.

The master bathroom has a separate shower, toilet, and bathtub with two sinks for the master of the house.

Yugi loves to swim all the time in the bathtub and takes his time to take a bath.

Toiletries are complete with L’Occitane bath amenities.

The second twin bedroom is quite comfortable even with four boys.

There is a common bathroom that everybody can use specially if you have guests.

The best part is the in-room camping set-up, featuring a teepee tent, bean bags and sleeping bag in the family lounge area.

You can set up your own feasts especially when celebrating a special occasion.

Love this big water bottle supply! Small details like this matter and distinguish them from other hotels who only serve 1-2 small bottles.

Challenging Adventure for Kids of All Ages

They have the fun slides and also a 90-degree drop slides for the brave and thrill-seeking kids.

It’s fun and challenging to walk across the rope bridges and tunnels.

The boys of all ages enjoyed the adventure zone but Aidan was a bit big already for the ball pit.

The little one enjoyed the play city with toy cars.

Dress Code and House Rules | Party Packages

The Adventure Zone has a strict dress code for kids – long sleeve shirt, trousers or knee-length shorts and socks.

A Breakfast that You Look Forward to

Breakfast is one of the highlights of the staycation and we would look forward to it.

We are torn because we want to wake up late when on a staycation but we had to wake up earlier to secure a table at breakfast.

Buffet Breakfast
Monday – Friday: 6.00am – 10.00 am
Weekends – 6.00am – 10.30 am

The Chinese station is the best with their hakaw, assorted dimsum, and congee for breakfast.

It’s awesome to have freshly squeezed juice with options to add superfoods like maca powder, chia seeds, spirulina powder or malunggay leaves.

Love this Mango Yogurt Parfait which is a better alternative than taho.

The Filipino selection of tapa, longganisa, tocino, dilis, and tuyo are always available during breakfast.

They also have a decent selection of cheese and cold cuts to start your breakfast.

Love their house-made Bacon and indeed, “You Bacon me Crraaaaazzzzyyyyy!!”

This section changes but I would always check out what kind of fish, mushroom or pasta dish are available.

I look forward to a really good Chicken Noodle Soup for breakfast or their signature Laksarapp!

Dessert should not be miss and I would often go for waffles with my choice of ice cream and toppings.

Lazy Pool Sessions

I love Samba’s Peruvian food. You can enjoy a long late lunch and you can enjoy the pool at the same time.

Samba Lunch
Monday to Sunday: 11.30 am – 2.30 pm

The main pool on the 8th floor has the lap pool, a children’s water play area, and a jacuzzi area.

The boys love fooling around this area and relatively safe for Yugi to just play wantusawa.

Fooling around the pool is one of the highlights of our staycation with the boys.

The Pool Club (₱520) Soft roll cornbread, pulled pork, soft cornbread rolls, cheddar, pico de gallo salsa, sweet potato chips

Our favorite is the pool club sandwich which you can share and at the same time a filling snack sandwich.

Kerry Sports Like No Other

There’s no excuse not to go to the gym because this is open 24 hours.

Our favorite part of Kerry Sports is the basketball court where you can play pickup basketball game with the boys when there are no scheduled practice games.

The first thing we do during the staycation is to reserve the time for the spa which is usually the last hour to relax.

I appreciate it that they are open as late as 1.00am or as early as 9.00 am during weekends so that you have options.

You got to try their Classic Philippine Hilot massage with good pressure strokes.

… use of herbal banana leaves, virgin coconut oil and dagdagay stick for a complete relaxation and to boost the immune system.

Final Thoughts

Your staycation will never be boring specially for the kids at Adventure Zone, the 8th-floor swimming pool and sports facilities at Kerry Sports. The boys particularly love the teepee tent set up for a taste of indoor glamping.

They have one of the best breakfast buffets in BGC and a unique Peruvian restaurant with Samba.

We love to enjoy the room as much as possible when on a staycation and always do things together with the boys.
