Healthy desserts and cake are the way to go this Christmas Season! Show your friends and family that you care for their health. Congratulations, Everyday Mom!
The Story behind EVERYDAY MOM:
My name is Pamela Lim and I’m a full-time mom and home baker. I recently had a “new baby”— my very own cakeshop called Everyday Mom, located at Scout Tuason corner Roces Ave in QC. Having a quaint little bakeshop is a dream come true for me. I have been baking since I was a kid, but it was only when I became a mother that I became cautious about the ingredients I put in or the equipment I use.
At Everyday Mom, all our goodies are made with natural ingredients and baked in non-toxic stainless steel pans. We use unbleached flour (as opposed to regular chemically treated bleached flour that has no real nutritional value), aluminum-free baking soda and baking powder, sea salt and natural flavors like pure vanilla extract. We don’t use artificial sweeteners, food colors or flavors and we definitely don’t put in preservatives. We also don’t use butter; instead, we use heart- healthy rice bran oil which is unsaturated fat and it has anti-oxidant benefits. We do this because we believe providing healthy food is truly a mother’s natural way of showing how much she cares for her family.
Everyday Mom. Healthy and Yummy. Naturally.

Thanks Anton for sharing this one. I love to eat but I have to be conscious, too. Here in USA, many people have diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and cancer because of the chemical additives and preservatives. That’s good that the owner of Everyday Mom is using natural ingredients and organic substances. I wish that someone here in USA will make this one. I know that Traders Joe (another leading grocery store in USA) in the whole San Francisco Bay Area are selling organic food products. I don’t know if they are really organic and free from preservatives completely. The prices there are also expensive and still many people are buying there especially the old folks.
Anton, magandang pangregalo iyan sa Christmas. Believe me, papatok iyong Everyday Mom kaya kikita pa ng husto iyong owner.
Well done 🙂
Not all butter is created equal, and not all saturated fats are bad.
If you want to use butter for cooking, buy only butter coming from grass fed cows (Anchor is the only one I know of in the Philippines).
That is healthy fat your body needs.
