With the use of Augmented Reality, Singapore Cable Car launched Asia’s first-ever DC Comics Super Heroes-inspired cable car experience. Ride with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern to fight against evil and save the day.
Afterwards, you can eat at the new casual dining spot–Spuds & Aprons (which replaced the premium Jewel Box brand)–with a stunning vista of the relaxing greenery, a running cable car line, and an aerial view of the harbour.

Here’s our awesome Singapore Cable Car experience with the boys…
You can enter the Singapore Cable Car Station near Imbiah Lookout (where Tiger Sky Tower and the Skyline Luge are located).
You can choose from 45 cable car cabins decked out in ‘DC Comics Super Hero’ graphic wraps, both inside and out.
Make sure to download the application “Fly with the DC Super Heroes” before you ride the cable car.
You can use the app to scan the augmented reality tags.
Batman appears to save the day and you can take a picture via the app.
There are tags on the seats too, so you can take a picture with your favorite superhero.

Milkshakes (S$9) and Minty Mango Madness Smoothies (S$9).
The milkshakes are very thick and creamy. Best to have these for dessert.
Asian Caesar Salad (S$12). Romaine Lettuce, Chinese Barbecue Meat, Boiled Egg, & Parmesan Cheese.
Using Chinese barbecue meat instead of bacon gives this classic salad a nice Asian twist.
Fries & Gravy (S$8). Steakhouse Cut Spuds with 6 Types of Cheeses & Brown Gravy.
You can order these poutine-inspired appetizers while you wait for your main dish.
✮ Chili Crab in a Tux (S$13). Chili Crab Stuffed in Potato Skins.
For a uniquely Singaporean appetizer, order these potato skins topped with chili crab, with salad on the side.
✮ Grilled King Prawns (S$32). Succulent Prawns Lovingly Grilled served with Silky Al Dante Squid Ink Pasta, Shimeiji Mushrooms, Cherry Tomtatoes, & a Tangy Tom Yam Broth.
Love this Asian-inspired squid ink pasta with big prawns and mushroom.
Oven-Roasted Mustard Marinated Chicken (S$19). Succulent Capon Massaged with Mustard & Roasted till Golden Brown & served with Homemade Gravy & Mashed Spuds.
For the boys, we would always order a chicken dish. Serving size is good for one but can be shared together with other dishes.
✮ Crispy Pork Belly (S$26). Pork Belly Soaked in a Hot Tub & Slow Cooked into Fork Tender. Perfectly Crispy & served with Homemade Pineapple Pickle & Roasted Spuds.
This one delivered on its promise of tender pork belly with crispy pork skin. Eat the pineapple pickle in between to clean your palate after each bite.
Jar of Happiness (S$11). Haagen Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream with Shortbread Biscuits, Almond Flakes, Mixed Berries Topped with Warm Berry Compote & Salted Caramel.
Dessert goodness in one jar. I just found it too sweet.
Chempedak Bread & Butter Pudding (S$10). Croissant with Creamy Custard & Chempedak served with Haagen Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream.
The bread pudding is also a very good option. Just remember to order it a la mode with ice cream.
After the meal, make sure to visit the toilet with a stunning view of the greenery around Mt. Faber.
You can record yourself flying like Superman in the PictureMEX (Interactive Motion Experience) using the latest in green screen technology.
On our way back, we made sure to ride the Superman Cabin this time.
The boys couldn’t get enough of the Augmented Reality DC Super Heroes and wanted to ride the rest of the cabins.

It was fun to see the different boats and cruise ships docked by the harbour.

I was impressed with the use of Augmented Reality to promote the DC Comics Super Heroes and to have a more interactive engagement. I also loved the new smart casual resto Spuds & Aprons with an awesome view of the surroundings.
